Grinding Areas (Possible spoilers)

Ok, so i've finished the main game and been working in upgrading my Skylanders. I used Eon's elite Stealth elf to beat Kaos in record time and use that Exp to level them up. (Seriusly beat him 3Times at least and your skylander will be max level.)

i want to know the best place to grind for gold and techbits.... tried racing but the payout was WAaaaayy to small and way to long to get (and i got 1st place on medium.... and all powers were set to techbits and still not alot smilie )

For EXP:

Play the battle brawl island level (can't remember the actual name) can normally raise a guy up at least 4-5 levels per run through


For Gold:

Place all the legendary treasures in the academy and make sure to collect the gold from them every day. After that, I just play levels with lots of chests in them (I find the first level is pretty good for this)


For Land Gearbits:

Chapter 51, without a doubt. Make sure to drift to boost to collect bonus gear bits


For Sea Gearbits:

The first level again, its sea area has lots of pipes you can destroy that will send out gear bits. Just make sure to dive when collecting them to get bonus


For Air Gearbits

Once again, the first level seems to be the best I've found. Lots of floating crates to explode with a lot of bits in them. Make sure to barrel roll when collecting for bonus

Also a tip - Hot Streak can collect bonus gearbits just with Nitro Boost active, no need for risky jumps or turns.

Still say that my leveling is faster... just gotta switch to the exp needed lander afterward he's down.... but there is a slight timelimit.

I dont doubt that your way is faster, and I may use it at some point. I just like to be able to level up my guys by playing as them, not using someone elses experience to level them up

If you play on Nightmare mode, have all the exp gain portal master powers selected and buy the exp bonus potion, you can raise a level one skylander up to level 18 in a single playthrough of Battlebrawl Island.

I've been laying around with a cold for the last few days and have levelled up so many Skylanders. So many.

A quick way to get gearbits regardless of location is to use your dodge. Diving and jumping back up in a sea vehicle doing a barrel roll in the sky and power sliding on land. All will give you a temporary boost which changes all the little gear bits worth 1 to the slightly bigger ones worth 3. Gold is everywhere once you get all the hats, soulgems and other collectibles so if you're not finding it now try a bunch of hugo/tessa's missions and eventually you'll be swimming in gold.

Beating kaos on easy will easily put your skylander to level 15.
