few annotations to add to Drek's post, there's a NUMBER of prerelease-based assumptions that Bifrost listed, and probably never tested herself, such as traps boosting only vehicles of the same element, or even being a boost rather than providing each vehicle a different weapon (and MOVESET) for every element the TRAPS you have are...

Now, to answer at least some of your questions:
1) You can either send an invitation to one of your friends or simply ask him to join his current game.
Can play all the modes.
Not all of them, no boss pursuit, time trial, or supercharged challenges... Basically nothing that you can't do in Couch Co-Op anyway, except Skystones, which will pit each player against each other, with their respective deck and vehicle ONLY if you are doing Online Co-Op
Quote: Drek952) No classic PvP, only racing.
Which makes the answers to his question: technically yes, technically 2 (4 online), and technically yes.
Quote: Drek953) Trap work like special power ups for vehicles.
Each Element unlock two attacks which have limited uses.
The Kaos Trap is now recognized as a Magic one.
That's actually inaccurate... His SKYSTONE is Magic, but the Kaos TRAP actually functions DIFFERENTLY as a weapon than the Magic Traps, which as the primary attack, fires two shots, that home and hit the target from each side, and do relatively normal damage for a trap, whereas a Kaos Trap fires a single shot as its primary attack which doesn't triangulate, and is OP'd even compared to other traps...
Traps also unlock the villains' Skystones.
4) They unlock new tracks, let you play as specific villains (only during races) which have to be defeated before you can use them.
Quote: Drek955) Nope, still 20 but a SuperCharger paired with his/her vehicle can get up to 21.
That's not entirely true either... Supercharging boosts ALL stats, not just HP, and unless a character gains 50 hp per level, the boost in HP isn't equivalent to 1 level either (because Supercharging ALWAYS gives 50 HP, leveling up doesn't), plus, it still says "Level 20"
Quote: Drek956) 13 levels (but two of them are rather short and content lacking).
7) I guess so, never tried it so far.
The answer to that question is no by the way, since no one else seems to know
Quote: Drek958) No... The infamous energy string is back.
EDIT: ninja'd by Bifrost.

Yeah, but she was a LITTLE bit less detailed and made a TWO more incorrect observations than you in her answers...
