Was the Tablet version ever released?

I have scoured the app store, I haven't seen any starter packs on my local store shelves, and there is nothing about Skylanders Superchargers on the tablet on Skylanders.com, so I was wondering was the tablet version ever released? Or did it just not come out in Australia? If someone has it can you please tell me the process for downloading the app, because last year with Trap team, they let you at least play through the first chapter.

Have we seen packaging of the tablet version at all?

I suspect there will be a starter-exclusive. Because buying 6 starters wasn't enough. :(

Interesting that they're allowing in-app purchases for additional Instant characters.

Glad it appears to be regular pack-ins. Was hoping to find this as cheap as I got last year's pack so I could get that blasted Hot Streak. How is it that I have three versions of this sucker, but don't have the "base" figure yet? ;)
