I consider myself to be financially competent. I rarely spend my money but when I do... it's a bit much. I can't even go off a week without buying something unnecessary. From games (especially collector editions), amiibo, DVDs/blu-ray discs. Especially after I spend my money on things needed for projects or souvenirs for my family. The worst thing is that I want more things. Or maybe I'm just a glorified hoarder.

Sometimes when I spend money I don't actually realise how much I have spent until I have counted it. I really must start saving, a definite must lol

i tend to spend all my money at once, i ahve 40$ at the moment so im gonna save that,, hopefully

I think I save TOO MUCH sometimes. It's been like four times already where I really really wanted a book or Skylander but I told myself to wait another week to get it because I'd lose interest. Guess what, a week later, still want the thing but now it's sold out. But at least it's the safer extreme; now that I'm actually paying for something big like a WiiU,it really hits that I can't just sell off what I don't need anymore quickly to pay for it; it takes a lot of time to build the savings back up.

I also managed to not buy anything these last 2 Steam Sales,which is stupid because I have like 5 bucks sitting there from selling cards, and once again, I tell myself I'll lose interest in that game that costs a third or less.

Skylanders. The majority of all money spent on video game-related things for the past 4 years have been from Skylanders.

Sounds like me and the Sims 3. It's probably a good thing that Sims 4 went back to expansion packs only.

Really my only habit is that I tend to get a Double Cheeseburger from McDonalds (€2) and a bottle of Club Orange (€1.60) on the way home after picking up my jobseeker's allowance on most Tuesdays. And I guess my family likes to get a take-away or a pizza delivery every Friday or so, and I tend to pay for it.

Amiibos are less of a habit and more something that I am working towards. I specifically want everyone in the Smash set, and I simply aim for that. Currently, I am at that goal, so I don't need to buy anymore until the next few come out (and there are only 5 left, until they add more DLC characters to Smash, but I don't see them adding more than 4). I have a few extra ones besides that, but I only do that occasionally and I normally have a reason for it.

I keep picking up action figures when I don't need it. :(

Same here, but I don't think those things as unnecessary. All those things are (for me at least) what makes this life worth living.

Amiibo and Skylanders.Everytime i get money.I spent it on on them.If theres a good deal online.I buy a pre paid credit card.I gotta keep doing my chores and blah blah blah
