How to replay the Tessa Battlebrawl

So I found out how to play the barnyard rejects again in Superchargers Albeit indirectly. Tessa only gives out the quest on Tuesdays, so set your system time to a Tuesday, clear any other Tessa missions out of your queue by completing them. Then talk to her to start the Barnyard Reject Arena, Then you can play a troll arena afterwards. Then switch it back to a day that isn't Tuesday, then Tuesday again before restarting the game.

Good stuff!! Some of these special missions prove WAY too many haters have been jumping the gun with their opinions. You're just missing out on some special content.

Are you sure this 100% works ?

Coz I've replayed the same days and still each time it's relatively random , sometime I got the tessa brawl quests and sometimes I didn't . If I did the brawls were also never the same . E.g. Once I got an insect and hammer head based brawl and then I had a walrus n pirate one.

humm. interesting, i thought they were all random as well. also one of tessa's mission is to go onto the pirate train. there i found a skystyone player and he had the missing skystone i was looking forever for. but i did die on the mission and restarted it. the first time through i had alot of the jump and dodge bombs sections, 2nd time it was almost all puzzles. im just missing 2 hats now, ive gotten 2 from tessa but idk if they are tied to a mission or just random from her. or hugo. or the race master guy.

As the pool get more shallow, you naturally start pulling more gear bit and gold and those types of rewards. Just keep playing whatever and you'll get them.

I enjoy the quests Tessa gives out, even though they are somewhat set on Nightmare difficulty automatically during the Bandit Train missions. I was hit by a few bombs and almost killed my Skylanders.

What does "clear the queue" mean?

I really disliked the whole date thing on Swap Force, sad to see it needing to be leveraged in this game. These things should just be in a menu...I mean REALLY...ration my quests and I paid $1k for this game. Joke.

The date-specific quests are cool, but it'd be nice to have hints about it instead of trial-and-error. Like, Sharpfin saying that Motleyville gets more activity on tuesdays, and you'd put two and two together since Battlebrawl is in there.

Well, I don't see hundreds of NPCs critical to my getting my work done in this game. They are just loitering around the hub. My preference is to be able to access the content when I want to. I'm not chasing a rare skylander here, I'm playing a very straight forward brawler with light puzzles.

Either way it's a dumb idea in today's landscape. You don't just play a single game any more until you're bored. You play lots. Giving quests that give you extra rewards that are random seems fine, but I'm not a fan of only getting the content on certain days.

Haha! Superchargers doesn't even have many puzzles. Telling ha, Lemons, Andy Robertson was right in his review of Dimensions. It's the best TTL game of the year... easily.

I spent 3 hours (and I don't suck at games) trying to get all 30 bricks in the Bacl to the Future open world (not the levels), and only managed to 100% the stud counter and get 17 of 30 gold bricks. That's 1 of 11 open worlds, and I still haven't beaten the story modes 14 levels and the three Expansion levels.

The amount of gameplay offered in Dimensions dwarfs Superchargers. Like that Travelers Tales stuck to their token staples while finding new ways to play.

I totally am not even thinking about the Legendary Sly Pack that's supposed to release today, but hear people are having trouble finding it. Instead, I'll be buying more fun packs (buying Emett and possibly Bad Cop or Legolas) today.

Another thing I dig about games like Dimensions and Infinity, are they have street dates on ALLmfiures, while Skylanders wants you to secondhand guess when figures will be in stores. I wish the Skylanders brand would get with the times, and give us hard dates on ALL figures.

Not sure what you're saying is dumb "in today's landscape". Most people have the attention span of a fly---getting in and playing specific content sounds like a good idea to me. I wouldn't be able to finish the first two games if Heroics and Quests couldn't be picked from a menu. Be it a NPC or menu, player should have control over some of this. The other problem I have with random is getting a question you just did over again, and Tessa won't give you more than 2-3 a day. I've had to play the card game twice and I know I haven't done all of the quests. That's silly. If they want to do it this way they need to randomize a list, not just randomize it every time you ask.

The Buzz quest stuff is spot on, I like that. But he's consistent. He gives you a character quest, a vehicle quest, and then Supercharged quest.

The other thing is some of these quests should recognize if you've already done them...it kinda felt silly asking me to do a Chompy Garden race and I've already done it. Minor quips.

I get it can seem grating; I personally like to hear about it. Activision needs to bring their A game, and content has always been an issue for me in this franchise. I just hate building things, and I'm sure the game own't work until I build my figures lol.

But don't we have a firewall thread to discuss this?

Sorry, Earth Dragon, but I'm going to say what I want. That's the glory of being a human and the first amendment.

Lemons, I knew you'd like to hear about it. It's a totally awesome game. It does so many things right. Boss fights are fun, story mode is heavy on action with a good plot, and the game basically asks you to interact with your figures, by rebuilding and reconstructing during the course of the story, adding to the immersion. You can have 7 figures on the portal at one time, and they will even reference each other. Homer was saying dogs can't talk when I had Scooby on, and the Wicked Witch was saying "you better watch out tin man," when I had Cyborg on the portal. Scooby sings the 60's Batman theme when Batman is on, and that's just icing on the cake.

I wanted to love Superchargers so much, but the gimmick was too apparent this year and forced, while removing the staples I love about Skylanders.

I'll say this. If every Skylanders for now on is lite on exploration, alienates previous Skylanders, doesn't extend the life of the game via Adventure Packs, and randomized rewards in levels instead of having preset rewards per level, which promoted exploration, and allows for tedious levels by forcing the gimmick on you, I'm done with the brand. This time, I mean it.

Talking is very healthy. And thanks, I will enjoy it. Any game that asks me to spend hundreds is worth it, when you've invested 22 hours of gameplay and are only at 38 of 480 bricks. That, ladies and gents, is how you make a lengthy game. In less than 22 hours, I had seen everything there was to offer in Superchargers. It took more than 40 hours to do everything in Swap Force, which is how Superchargers should have been, length and sheer amount of gameplay and variety wise.

So again, thanks. I am enjoying it. smilie

It isn't possible for you to have seen everything there is to do in Superchargers, in part because you couldn't POSSIBLY have seen or done all the Supercharged Challenges, and part because you couldn't possibly have done or seen all the elemental vehicle zones... You may have seen everything there is to offer short of that, but it took me DAYS to master TC Donkey Kong's Challenge, I'm free to spend all my time short of between 6 and 10 pm doing so... Each of the TWENTY supercharged challenges asks something different of you, as does each of the TEN Elemental Zones, that's THIRTY ways to play... And while the 8 swap zones have more variety in gameplay, at least these ones have different goals EVERY. TIME.
You think Superchargers is repetitive? I have to repeat every one of the SWAP Zones about 8 times without ANY changes apart from SCENERY, and if I want 3 stars on each of them, I have to beat each of those 8 sets of 8 IDENTICAL challenges AT LEAST 3 more times...
If I want ALL the stars, I have to do 8 sets of 8 identical challenges 4 TIMES each, and THEN I have to play through the WORST story in the HISTORY of the franchise 4 TIMES!

This game asks me to do each challenge ONCE...
The ONLY argument you have is that there's a lack of things to do if you DON'T like vehicles, even more rediculous is that Superchargers doesn't "force exploration down your throat" if you don't like to explore, but it CONPLETELY doesn't DISCOURAGE it either... If you don't want to explore, buy everything in the shop, get easy to reach chests, and get items from the shop, but those that LIKE exploration can seek out EVERY. LAST. ROULETTE. CHEST, because the game keeps track of which ones you've gotten, and replaced them with presents/chests that give the same kind of reward that the Roulette chest gave you, it's completely optional for those who want all the collectibles, but it's there if you WANT to explore... THIS FRANCHISE IS ABOUT WHATEVER IT WANTS TO BE, but there's rewards in it for people who take their time to check everything out, there are plenty Red Toolboxes hidden throughout vehicle zones, even in the point a to point b sequences, by taking side roads or destroying all the destructibles you see...
And finding all the skystones opponents to get every sky stone? -gasp- there are ACTUALLY collectibles you CAN'T GET WITHOUT EXPLORING! You CLEARLY didn't even know that certain stones can ONLY be obtained through beating SPECIFIC characters in SPECIFIC locations, or because part of your complaint was that there WEREN'T any such collectibles...
You see, sir you can't do everything it has to offer in 22 hours, it's taken me more time than that 40 hours, just to master 1 piece of content... There's a surprising amount of depth... And dude, if you LOVE racing games, (i actually don't... I enjoyed each Mario Kart I bought for a few hours tops [so I stopped buying them after I bought the Wii version] and Sonic Riders? I got bored after finishing story mode and every mission I could (the first riders, I could barely bronze ANY of the missions, and with Zero Gravity, the missions where you needed to collect orbs to make it in time were the only missions I've never been able to EXTREME [i couldn't get past BEGINNER rank on those, but I could extreme anything else, but I didn't bother doing a few missions because I knew I'd never get my hands on the emeralds, even if I came VERY close, unless I could EXTREME six missions that I couldn't get INTERMEDIATE on]) Every other racing game I've played got boring FAST... Not to say I HATED them, )
I just didn't enjoy them, I can only imagine how fun they'd be if I was a full-blown fan of the genre...
