This... probably isn't the right place for this topic. So if it's not, I'm 100% cool with it being moved to another thread. But I had this idea for a mode in the sixth Skylanders game (because we all know there's going to be a sixth Skylanders game, let's not kid ourselves. Money makes the world go 'round after all.) and thought I'd share it here just to get everyone's thoughts on it. And, since Activision moderates these forums, maybe it'll become a reality? Who knows. So anyway, this mode I feel like would make up if PvP or Heroic Challenges don't return, and would probably offer a lot of online replayability. I call this mode:

SKYLANDS CONQUEST

So what is Skylands Conquest, you ask? Well, you know those MOBA games like DOTA 2 or LoL (very unfortunate acronym there, btw)? Well, main inspiration draws from those. Basically, there's a large arena where where two teams of four Skylanders try to cover as much ground as they possibly can before time runs out, and if their HP runs out, they have to respawn at the beginning of the map. And by "cover as much ground", I mean like building forts and activating lights that turn your team's color or... something like that. Oh yeah, also inspired by Splatoon. And the team who has the most ground covered by the end of the round wins, and all Skylanders on the team are awarded experience and gold depending on how well they did in the match. So if, say, you just stayed at base and did nothing, then your Skylander would get nothing in return, even if your team won.

Also, all Skylanders are divided into six categories: Acrobatics, Bombers, Brawlers, Shooters, Supporters, and Tanks. I'll make another post about these categories in this topic later.

So, yeah. That's the jest of it. Thoughts?

Good idea, but I feel this more like a separate PC game than a mode for the main one.

interesting idea, but I see it as more of a full spin-off ( like Battlecast or the current mobile games )...

I think it has a lot of potential. I agree that it would be best suited as its own separate thing with full online support like Splatoon has. I can't see them doing it justice as a bonus mode.

Good idea. I would also love to see classic PvP and even team PvP like 2 players vs 2 players

i would love to see more of a MMO feel to it, but keep in that kids level. Most of us have so many skylanders why not let parties of 4 or 5 explore together and get different mods etc. My opinion. Skylanders World or something.

That could be cool...

I like the idea I had for a Skylanders F2P game. It would actually require every type of figure to collect everything, offer new levels for the level items, have the magic items work like they should ( meaning as magic items not just unlocking legendary treasures ), and traps would allow at least PLAYING as the villains from TT if not trapping & playing as new villains. Best of all, those curious about the series but not into the toy collecting aspect could buy instant versions of all characters for a few dollars each ( minus variants ).

I guess my thing is like my favorite character is Flameslinger, i use him in all my games. I'd love to be in a guild type place, with our own academy doing our own things. Plus i have all these characters, what is the pay off give me a reason to use them all. Imagine doing a dungeon that requires water elements, and doing it in a group of 5 but you can't have dups aka you can't have 2 chills, it makes everyone use the characters we have purchased, gives you the challenge of getting outside your comfort zone. IDK its just a thought but i always think big lol.
