So far it would have to definitely be Deep Dive Gill Grunt! I love his trident attacks and lightning attacks (it makes me feel so powerful)! His jet pack abilities are really handy to speed through an area, althoug I prefer using his other attacks. Unfortunately here in Australia, we have to wait a while until Wave 2 so I only know the Wave 1 characters (in regards to playability).

Don't have any, kinda disappointed so far (Wave 1). The one I play most is Steal Plate and Dive Bomb.

By far it is Stormblade. But honorable mention goes to Steel Plated Smash Hit

Bowser. I wish more Skylanders had the ability to transform indefinitely. I think Bat Spin and Bowser are the only ones.

High Volt and Dark Spitfire. I know High Volt was wave 2 but I found him on day 1 so I count him. I also like Nitro Stealth Stinger and Dark Hot Streak and Reef Ripper.

Stormblade, but Fieasta and Dive Clops are also not bad. But am I the only that think that this game is easier as the others?

Donkey, and Big Daddy, i love guest stars.

stormblade hands down, my new favorite of all time, sorry knightmare. her speed is what wins it for me, just soooooo fast.

also bowser dosent count hes not really a skylander lol. but whatever, thats just me, i dont count DK or bowser.

Nice to see I'm not the only one who thought of Bioshock's Big Daddy when looking at Dive-Clops lol

My favorites so far are Spitfire, Bowser & DK ( though I haven't PLAYED as the Amiibolanders, they default to being favorites because Nintendo ). I love Stealth Elf, but the Supercharger version isn't quite as fun to play imo...haven't played any other characters yet.

DK can kinda transform ino like Arcade DK when you hold down Y (on the Wii U) where he has an all new moveset if that counts.

Definitely going to pick up Stormblade after everyone's comments about her! She looked amazing for starters, but now with your advice she sounds like she may become one of my favourites!

I would Say Steel Plated Smash Hit but I won't count the variants. My favorite is actually Spitfire. This guy surprised me so much and managed to dash his way into 5th for which ones I like the most. Hes the best Starter Pack character IMO, and his attacks are flawless.

Y no love 4 Fiesta
I personally love him, his gameplay is fun, though his attacks aren't that strong.

I'm not a fan of Fiesta because His attacks are quite weak and can die really fast (even at level 20) I mean I love this guy, His design is great and his Vehicle looks incredible, His attacks just bother me.

Storm Blade, but i like the look of Hotstreak.

Super Shot Stealth Elf's a lot better than I thought she was going to be. But with that said, my favorite Wave 1 character would probably have to go to Turbo Charge DK.

I only got the new characters (and no SP smash hit cause I don't get varients), so of my 4 I'd honestly have to give it to Spitfire. I will say I am pretty dissapointed with how Fiesta ended up. Probably would go like Spitfire, Stormblade, Dive Clops, then Fiesta.

Bowser was fun but I have to go with Gill Grunt. His new figure doesn't disappoint and his vehicle has been my favorite water vehicle. Well balance and able to zap people as they are trying to pass you.

I haven't played the game yet, but just from looks, I'd say Dive-Clops.

He reminds me of a Big Daddy, too. That's actually why he's my favorite.

i personally love spit fire and SS terrafin and does my E3 Hot streak count since it did come out before the game so it would be wave -1?

I gotta say for a wave 1 Superchargers is only OK. Most of wave 1 aren't all that intense or epic and I do have one major disappointing complaint I must address. Considering all of my favorite Undead characters , , , , and even , is really underwhelming compared to all of them and am shocked Undead didn't impress me this time around. His horn doesn't do much damage, his small head form is really slow and his amigos die way too fast.

I actually really like Dive-Clops and Stromblade, and Bowser is really powerful as well. For the vehicles, I prefer HotStreak and Reef Ripper.

Stormblade was really a good surprise. I wasn't really interested in her at first but she turned out to be a powerhouse and very fun to play as.
Smash Hit didn't disappoint either. Right out of the box he was already very powerful and he has an unique and fun gameplay.
I'm also quite happy with Hurricane Jet-Vac. He is a lot better than the original and finally strong enough to stand his ground against big ennemies.

Donkey kong is so amazing. Talk about a tank!

Of the characters I currently own, I'd have to say my absolute favourite is . I had reasonable expectations, and he has definitely surpassed them! I also like and , which may be partly due to my personal bias for both characters, but also how fresh and fun they are to play. Vehicle-wise, I definitely like Barrel Blaster (for nostalgia/design reasons), Shark Tank, Jet Stream and Reef Ripper (gameplay-wise).

Of course, my opinions could change later this month, when I pick up , , Sky Slicer and Dive Bomber.
