I live in NJ, let me state that. I've literally called every Walmart in the state and guess what? They all told me the same damn thing
We only have traps, no figures
And it's true! I drove out to 5 different ones, and they have no SC characters! Which ***** me off considering they're the ones with those 2 pack licensing deals and because of that stupid agreement I don't have Jet Vac/Jet Stream, and I also have NO sky vehicles. The Toysrus near me sold out of Stealth Stinger, and I bought the Sky Slicer online, but it looked terrible!
Sorry for going off track, but does anyone know why none of the freaking NJ Walmarts have any Superchargers?

My Walmart is the same (No SC). I stopped by today and the Lego Deminsons are in the spot where Skylanders use to be. They told me that I can order online and have it delivered to store. I'll pass.
The Walmart that is 30 minutes away has SC, but nothing that I cant get at BB, TRU or Target that is next door or down the street. What doesn't make sense is the Walmart in my town only has GS to compete with but decided not to, but the Walmart 30 minutes away has all major stores to compete with (TRU, BB, Target, GS) and since they don't have deals, like TRU or BB, they don't get business either. |

Walmart just seems to hate Skylanders in general. One of the Walmarts near me doesn't even carry Skylanders anymore, and the others have yet to put out any SuperChargers figures (just a few starter packs), and they recently reduced the size of the Skylanders section by half to make room for Lego Dimensions (which now has a much bigger section than Skylanders). Disney Infinity, on the other hand, practically has two sections to itself at Walmart (one for all the non-Star Wars stuff, one for all the Star Wars stuff) and didn't get reduced at all when Lego Dimensions came out.

WalMart is being run in the ground by Sam's kids. Nothing to do with the franchise...they are simply not running the stores well.
That being said I'd rather WAIT for something I need be available somewhere else than to step into their store. that's why I don't have regular jet vac right now. Just ain't goin' to do it. |

My Walmart has SC out, but I really hate their service. On the 18th I tried to purchase Dive Cllops and Stormblade (wanted to see if they would sell it to me, knew it wasn't likely) and when I got to the counter and it said do not sell, I said "so you can't sell it now?" And she just said "No." And preceded to laugh. Walmart has never been great on product availability.

You should know that walmart bullies businesses to sell their products sometimes half the price to them in order to sell them in walmart stores. acti could've gotten fed up with walmart's practice or the fact that walmart wasn't making money on them and they just aren't being carried there anymore. i highly doubt you'll see superchargers there or any exclusives again.

Taking that last ride through the sunset on skylanders. Hopefully a return of more classic spyro gameplay in the horizon. |

Why even give Walmart your business? Wait a few weeks and get it from a reliable retailer...it's not the end of the world. I live in NJ as well...guess what? Walmart is the one retailer I haven't even bothered to go to since the launch of Superchargers. I have come to have zero expectations from them. I've checked out the selection at Best Buy, GameStop, Target, and Toys R Us. In the long thread from early this year, I was the one who had posted that the Walmart store in Hamilton, NJ had completely done away with Skylanders. The trend of apathy for Skylanders at Walmart is statewide...must be some dumb decision by a district or regional manager. If we really cared, all us NJ Skylanders collectors can complain at Walmart.com to get the attention of a regional manager, but I could care less for a retailer which shows no care in stocking a gaming franchise I enjoy. Other retailers have better sales, selection, and stock, so they get my money. As for the exclusivity, it's temporary and not worth whining over...it's not as if they got something amazing as a store exclusive. By the way, what part of NJ do you live in? I see stealth stinger quite a bit in stores. |

Walmart isn't much better in my area, though I don't go to them often, as I think they are a horrible company that should not be in business anymore. Last time i was there(before SC came out) they had maybe 2 columns of pegs for skylanders. What felt like about 20 for disney infinity, and what looked like 5-10 for lego dimensions

my Wal-Mart has vehicles, the combo packs, the sea racing pack and starters....plus the exclusive Trap Team packs of Gill Grunt/Gill Runt and Pet-Vac/Jet-Vac...98% of the toys to life area is freaking Disney Infinity. Only other stores that even sell these things are Gamestop and Target ( Target is almost as bad selection wise, also having 90+% being DI )..I have to take a roughly 1 hour trip to get to the nearest Best Buy of TRU, and that relies on friends being available & up for a road trip
![]() As I've stated before, never once did I see half the Trap Team toys, specifically the light & dark element stuff. Now the cheapest I seem to be able to get the expansions is $60-100 each ![]() |

I just moved from a 4 Walmarts, 2 targets, 3 GameStops, and 1 TRU/BestBuy town, to a 1 Walmart and 1 GameStop town. I thought I would be screwed and have to drive an hour to find the normal stuff. The one Walmart here had more than the four I came from would probably have or put out if they did have. I've seen everything from wave 1 (except the exclusives obviously). No wave two yet, but turns out I'm not really liking the look of the new Skylanders anyway and not sure if I will by any this time around.

Some of this is just different contracts. Toys R Us and Skylanders has had quite the relationship with all the legendaries. Disney Infinity might move more units at Walmart then Skylanders with the other stores having better agreements (which retail stores normally pay for).

Activision probably just won't front the money for shelf space. They probably figure Skylanders sells itself and doesn't need to pay them for that. Walmart is well known for turning the screws on vendors and punishing those that don't play ball. My store shares a rack with Infinity and most of the Superchargers stuff is fairly hidden on a different rack further back. They don't even have a demo unit.

I just happened to stop by the Princeton, NJ Walmart today and they had plenty of Superchargers including 2 each of the Terrafin and Jet Vac combo packs, so it's not like zero of the NJ stores have them. I even found a Wallop there! |

Well Walmart can die. Seriously, They are doing a awful job. Superchargers is supposed to be out and they might get a variant and if Superchargers isn't out then we can't get them.

The problem is that for a lot of people, Walmart is their only option without driving a long distance. I realized that when I went to visit a friend and the closest department store other than a Walmart was over an hour to an hour and a half away. I guess there's always Amazon or other online options, but to just be able to go in and get what you want, Walmart is the only option.
