I was just laying with my superchargers and thought of something. Since the dark starter pack comes with the kaos trophy I thought that the normal starter pack should have had........ A master Eon trophy!! I also thought that they could have a sky trophy with Flynn on it, a land trophy with Mags on it, and a sea trophy with Sharpfin on it. They actually would look cool to me.

Ideas for Superchargers 2.
Like SC or not, they really need to recycle ideas more often so we can get deeper amounts of content much in the same way Giants added a new story and content to SA.

Glad heroic challenges are gone. Imagine doing 165 per skylander. That's 27225 challenges. No thank you. |

I'm TOTALLY FINE with a 2nd wave of swappers. I'd be totally fine with additional racing content in future games, although I bet it will never happen. |

Well, unless they change engines again, they can just port the racing mode to next game, maybe change a few tracks around, with not that much work. Only thing that would get in the way would be memory issues or the devs having attachment issues and not allowing a port for the other team.

Racing isn't going to be in the next game. I'm calling it now.
There is only so much time to program stuff folks, and porting all the racing takes time and trouble-shooting, along with making sure all the new character art gets into the vehicles. I hope in the next game, someone pulls their head and starts figuring out a system to curb the massive amount of toys they are having to account for in every entry because it's gonna get to the point where it takes 2 years just to figure out and program a use for the backlog.

Well, doesn't' the fact that they have built in obsolesce with any non skylander toy help with that? That's effectively what they've done with Trap team, and I suspect next game there will be "zero" use of traps and "very minor" use of vehicles (much in the same way traps were supported this game). |

I still think it would be a good idea to have people in the academy be available for racing in this game.

True, and that's the sad truth we'll have to deal with moving forward. It's why I've mentioned magic items need to start to be recycled. If you got one new and one old in an adventure pack, folks would be treated with early access if they had the old one, new players would have less crap to track down, and they would have to program less stuff into the game.
A swap force 2 where at the end of the game the swappers all "fused" back together would save some headache moving forward as well. No more 256 combos they have to check the clipping on. New hats are gonna need to be trimmed down. They did a good job on this one, and the way you re-earn the old is tolerable. Trinkets were are another bad idea that was good to get the ax. Again, it's the programming backlog that takes it toll on future games and was a lot of the reason Trap Team was a hollow shell of a game because instead of designing arenas, they programmed elites, trinkets, and mini versions of skylanders. I've convinced myself at this point to write them a letter and explain my feelings on how they hampered their own series. i agree that more interesting ways to play is the way to go. With VV on staff, I don't understand why they haven't done a more Marvel Ultimate Alliance style of play. Gets 4 players going at a time. Anyways, I'm going off at this point.

Well, they got rid of 46+ villains in Trap Team. Vehicles will not need to be coded moving forward. I already see they're doing what you're suggesting. They've already coded Swap Force on both sides...it's simply a matter of testing in the latest game (to a large extend). Frankly the most "damage" they've done is the sheer number of characters. That's their own fault.
The SC levels don't feel as long as Swap Force, so I can go out on a limb and say coding online also took away resources. Is this game big enough with online, or do they need more time? |

Flat out, they need more time to develop these games. Sure, they had the SF coded, but did they have those 256 models drawn onto a motorcycle? No. It's also just another thing that gets in the way.
Am I impressed with the amount of value you get here? Yes. Heroics are back in a way, there's a special mission for each vehicle element, which should set a new standard of special missions going forward (why not have some special missions for water Skylander's infiltrating a beachfront or fire guys retrieving something from a volcano). So there is extra content you unlock with every figure you buy pretty much, But I can agree there is some other stand-bys that could have been put in. I'm just convinced at this point time constraints are what has impacted the last two games. Trap team hurt more from it as they decided to program a gazillion charcaters as opposed to actual content (character are content, but without stuff to do, it becomes non-content). Here they at least had the foresite to understand less is actually more when it came to new characters.
