1.The iOS version comes out a month after the other ones.
2.How there is not much vehicle variety for their elements. I get why both water vehicles are sea, and earth vehicles are land, but what really pisses me off that more versatile elements (fire, life, magic, undead) are not different. Sorry if this what a bit confusing, basically I don't like how both life vehicles are sky vehicles, how both magic vehicles are sea, etc. It kinda just messEd up my plan to balance my Skylanders by element.

It would cause problems for those 10 special elemental vehicle zones at the hub if the fire vehicles and life vehicles were split up.
When you play the game, you understand the reason for the distribution. And as a side: Undead Wolfgang: Air Fire Pepperjack: Air Life Chompy Mage: Land Earth Golden Queen: Sea Light Spellslamzer: Sea So the Villians have been used to mix up the elements to different fields while making it easier and more flexible to get more of the games content by doubling the vehicles up into the same terrain type.

Spellslamzer is Light because his robes are white and yellow - aged and very hard to notice but it definately used to be white long ago.
All the elements in the skystones seem to have the matching elements in mind, too, so it's safe to say it was intentional to have him be Light even if his vehicle is clearly Magic.
