So I watched a video by Buuzer and it showed you can unlock Instant Spitfire and Hot Streak with the Trap Team Portal. Tried it out and they work! It's so cool! I'm sticking with my trap Team portal now so i have access to these two all the time

No you plug in your Trap Team portal and you press A (if your on Xbox) or X (If on PS3/4)

I'll have to upgrade Instant Spitfire but now I can put him on the other path and I think he would actually look good in the orange.

Do they save upgrades?

This is SO cool

If I were into customs, I'd be neat to paint a Spitfire and Hot Steak to match the Instant versions and remove the RFID tags so they wouldn't work.

Is there a similar thing on the Wii U for instant DK or Spitfire or their vehicles?

^I think instant spitfire and hot streak also works for Wii U. However, I'm not sure about instant DK.

It also works with older portals : S:SA's & Giant's.

Really loving it.

I got my Instant Spitfire to level 14 and all his main upgrades. Took him down the Flamenado path.

Sadly, Instant Spitfire does not work with co-op

@Deja Vu Well it says I have 4 fire now So it includes my Instant's but they don't show up in the collection

For those who don't yet know, Instant and Hot Streak are playable in Racing mode as well. If you don't have a Driver and/or Vehicle on the Portal of Power, one of the Instants appears as a replacement. It even works when you use the new portal!

The game doesn't even recognise my other portals, I'm on Xbox One.

If they're Xbox 360 they won't be recognized either,they have to all be X1. Dumb, I know,but that's the compatibility.

Is this some sort of sick joke? I was hoping i wouldn't have to prioritise getting a land vehicle :/

Ask MS. I managed to borrow a PS3 portal from a friend,but yeah, the microsoft portals are incompatible even between each other while PS3,PS4,Wii and WiiU are all compatible(at least I think it's the case for all).

I have a wii portal somewhere i will find it and try it.

Well my Traptanium portal works fine with PS3 and PS4.

My SC portal is crap on XBO...constantly gets a "cant be recognized"...I've gone TT portal (looks nicer too) and haven't looked back. I mentioned that everyone had Instant if they plugged in another portal a while back, but glad this is getting the word out.

STT portal looks much better than SCs Mat of Power.

I like the new Portal... It looks cool... But yes the Traptanium Portal does look pretty sick

Just saying, I still prefer the SSF portal over SSC

Traptanium Portal is my favorite, After comes SSA then Swap Force.

Agree. This new one looks like junk.

Is it wrong to say I love the portal in SSC? The design (especially the flames) look awesome and the symbols around it are classic Skyland symbols

While I think it looks cool, it looks like it should be for Hot Wheels, plus it doesn't look all that magical.

Anyway, since I most likely will not get Spitfire until Christmas, the Instants will have to do. At least I can still use the non-Nintendo starter characters when I want to. Even if I don't get a figure yet.

I just tried my wii portal, it lit up but it wouldn't recognise it :/
