I am still downloading it on Xbox One. However it let's you start early and I get the portal plugin screen and then I waited for like five minutes. No change. So it seems unless someone knows how you do need a portal.

Plug in the portal then start the game

sadly I don't own a portal, I was under the impression the digital will still work without the portal.

I think I recall in the sb&g video Lou says
" if you have a past game you can use a older portal and download the game"
So I'd prob recomend that you try get a used copy of a older game.

The digital ones are called Portal Owner Packs. If you are downloading this then you should have a portal from a previous game.

If not, go to your local GameStop/EBGames and grab a used portal for $10 or less.

You can buy a used one from gamestop just make sure it's for the xbox one as the other portals dont work. I suggest a trap team portal so you can use traps etc in case you want trap team someday etc.

On the Wii U e-shop it says "a portal is required to play this game".

So I broke down and bought the Trap Team starter for Xbox One. And yes NOW finally Superchargers works. And I guess I got Trap Team to play though as well. And well if the wallet is open why stop there so I bought the Sea Racing Trophy three pack and the flying jet vehicle as well. Move over Anakin and Asohka here comes Snapshot and Food Fight.

Yeah the vehicle controls were a bit weird. It's also weird how you can't do any tricks when you jump. I haven't played though very far but so far the games looks good. I am particularly interested to see how the online Skystones Overdrive is, because I do enjoy playing Hearthstone. But I suppose it's good I have Trap Team because I think I am going to want to get more of the cooler villain cards for my deck like Chef Pepperjack.
