Me and the wife spent an hour or so yesterday putting all of our legacy figures, expansion packs, traps and treasures on the portal at the Academy and have found that none of the figures were added to our collection.

The traps gave us the Skystones cards, and the treasures registered as placeable items for the academy, but the characters didn't. Our collection only consists of the SuperChargers that we've used so far.

Has this happened to anyone else?

Bridge you check ownership on the character menu?

You may have to take ownership of each one of them as you put them on.

I'm playing on the Wii U and I've had to manually take ownership of all my figures I've used in past games (even though I played Trap Team on the Wii U as well). I must admit that it stinks...it's a MAJOR time waster and a lot more inconvenient then just quickly placing the figure on the portal.

I was afraid that this was going to be the issue. Looks like we will have to get a couple drinks tonight and do it again.

This is what i came here for. Spent about 45 minutes portaling them all yesterday, then checked the statue and only 2 had made it into collection. I've played all 5 games on this wii u. Will taking ownership of them on Superchargers affect the old games?

I don't think so. I had an issue with a figure ONCE changing from my Hard mode save to Nightmare, but I don't think it actually removes the number from your collection; they'll just show up as visiting skylander until you register them again.

Yeah, we discovered this last night. Strangely, the one exception was series 1 Spyro. That one imported fine. All the others needed to have ownership claimed manually. It was a freaking pain. I think I have 279 Skylanders registered now. Fifteen of them are super chargers, and Spyro worked fine, so 263 manual ownerships. Blech.

Only an hour? Is the process quicker for this year? LOL I seem to recall mine taking closer to four for Trap Team but then again I also imported all those hats too which took forever. Seems this year you cannot import hats, so it would be a much faster process.
