So I pre-order superchargers three weeks in advance to make sure I get it on launch day for my kids....

Midday and I am starting to wonder where it is... Track my parcel.. "Shipped, will arrive Saturday 26th"

Urm yeah. Thanks Amazon. What is the point of preordering weeks in advance if you can't even ship the damn product for the launch day? It's bad enough I had to wait a week more than the US launch but now I don't even get it on the UK launch?

I have cancelled the order. Tried to buy it direct from Nintendo eShop. It's not even bloody listed.

That's it. I'm done. Screw Activision, this customer is done. If you can't even get me the game I pay for you are not getting my damn money. Bye!

What? It won't be on eshop until noon EST. Don't rant just because you won't look it up, you're getting mad over little.

I got SUPER salty when I found out my 12 hour wait became 18 hours, but it was my own damn fault, I didn't blame it on Acti or Nintendo because it's the RULES that it's only listed since midnight if it's listed or announced as such there.

The release for Skylanders was for 9/20/15 if your in the US, UK 25th you ordered it from amazon and you thought you would have it by next day. I got my order by 9/21/15 one day after but I'm lucky I live in a state that has amazon warehouse. So unless your going to the store to buy it you have to know it going to be a few days.

It isn't even Acti's fault... What's wrong with driving to the store anyways lol?

My iPhone was released today.
Despite it being sent to the wrong postcode more than 200 miles away they still got it to me today.

Amazon promised the game would be here today. The order page said "Receive on 25th". It looked like it wouldn't be getting here till Monday. They can do ONE HOUR delivery of other products to my postcode but can't get a game to me when promised with 3 weeks notice.

Is it a tantrum to expect to get what you paid for when it was promised?

You might not care what I think or say, but this is the end of the Windows APP I wrote, I can't do anything with it without the game and figures for testing. Not going to invest more time and money with companies that don't give a crap about their customers.

Contact Amazon and let them know you're very disappointed with the slow shipping and this order has made you second guess ever preordering anything from them again...they'll probably throw you a token gift card. Their customer service really is top notch. If you want to swear off Amazon over this one incident, good luck with other retailers...they're more likely to tick you off with slow shipping and poor customer service. I am an Amazon Prime member and I have been perfectly happy with their 2 day shipping or free digital credits when you opt for slower shipping.

I have used Amazon extensively and have had amazing customer service in the past. That's why I am so angry and annoyed over this. It is just so out of character for a company that normally does top notch service.

It has made up my mind on one thing though. I won't bother buying the game on the WiiU anymore. LEGO Dimensions is out on Monday, hopefully that arrives on time!

When you pre-order on amazon and choose the cheapest shipping option you get it several days or up to 9 days later.

It tells you on Amazon which shipping choice to choose if you want it release day (or the day after because the release was a sunday.)

Is this the example you want your kids to follow when they don't get their way? Your game was going to arrive one day late...What kind of problem is that? You say this was "for your kids", but were your kids the ones who were upset? As a parent, you get to teach them that waiting an extra day isn't a big deal. You get to teach them patience. How about teaching them to forgive someone for making a mistake? How about giving someone a chance to make up for their shortcomings?

I ordered from Amazon and I don't have the game yet but it's meant to come today.

I don't know about Amazon,but it is a temper tantrum when you want the game on eShop the time you think you want it. I don't think Acti will miss your money if you're going to act like this, I'm sure,they'll be making plenty with people that know the time it'll be out on eShop or at least are willing to wait until it appears.

I still don't see why it is Acti's fault, nor do I get why it is so much trouble to go to your local Walmart/GameStop, etc.

Even more irritating than not having it delivered is everybody ignoring the fact I don't live in the US.

Does that mean that stores where ever you live don't carry the game?

Stupid question, but why pre-order a starter set that is pretty much in abundant supply at any store the day of release and for months after? I walked into several stores this week and found everything in abundant supply, even the dark Wii-U starters.

Sure it's convenient to have stuff sent to your home, but it's not exactly the most reliable method at times either, so something like this would be a "meh, it happens" moment and you just wait a few days longer for it, no big deal. If it was really that important to get it day one, putting a reserve in for one at the local game store would be the best way to go. Any gamer should know this by now really.

All but the price, and that's still the regular price of a retail game in the eShop(pretty sure Splatoon is actually more expensive than that), still nothing to do with Acti or the game itself.

If you don't like the price, don't buy it from the e-store. The MSRP of these in stores in the UK is £53.99. You save around £9 to buy it digitally; maybe £8 if you compare to Amazon. If that's not a good enough discount for you, then buy it in a store and get more for your money. That was the solution to your problems from the very start.
