Amazon's preorders have it set for Oct. 4th, which you can see on the burn cycle pre order.

SWEET THANK YOU SOOOOOOO MUCH. Now that I got the burn cycle and stealth stinger, I only need high volt smash hit and nightfall to complete my wave two

I haven't got the email either. Just need the dual packs and those to get caught up.
However, on another site, one of the members mentioned dual packs 1 & 2 will be out on 10/4, but also mentioned at TRU that the Legendary Air Racing Pack will be out as well.
Going to check a couple of Walmart to see if I can find the dual packs early. If not, then wait until October.

I suspect Activision wants some extra figures in the stores to compete with the launch of Lego Dimensions.

Those who aren't getting Burn Cycle until the 4th from Amazon ordered too late, thus they're getting theirs from a second shipment. I ordered mine yesterday morning, right when they went up, and sure enough mines on its way for delivery tomorrow along with Stealth Stinger and Shark Tank.

Yep, that's part of what all this is about. DI struck first, then held off on "Vader" and "The Real Trilogy" until it was time to 'spar' with Skylanders. Skylanders is up to that challenge, but having to fend off Lego Dimensions also a week later? It wouldn't shock me if that is part of why 'this year' EVERYONE seems to be getting Wave 2 at the same time.

Dimensions is Sunday. and from what i have understood will blow SSC and DI3.0 out of the water, according to sales at my buddies GS.

For me, Dimensions is the first Toys to Life game I'm completely skipping. Yes, I barely played 1.0 and only played 2 play sets in 2.0, but I did technically get and try them.

It's just my opinion, but I've never liked the look of Lego video games. Zero interest in Dimensions.

In terms of actual sales...like % off it won't...
In terms of interest...it won't either...it cost too much out the gate for a new entry, and frnakly doesn't have the exposure of the other 2.

I'm skipping Legos - PERIOD. Not paying for it, don't have time for it, and my babygirl will swallow them. Plus can you imagine the long term cost? You've ALREADY got "Dat Lego" tax, now you're adding a TRU tax in some places? I paid $10 for my son to make THREE lego minifigures...nope. Lego can take two flat platees that won't come apart and stick them...

I'll dip my toe in Lego Dimensions when the price falls. Lego games drop very fast, but given these have physical toys it will probably take longer.

Besides there are many really great Lego games out already that are cheap if you want to scratch that itch. It really doesn't look all that different functionally. If you have a WiiU and not Lego City, that's where your money should go - best Lego game ever. If you want to play with some real Legos too, get Lego City and buy a set over in the toy aisle and have the same thing for less money ...

As for Wave 2, I'm most excited for Stealth Stinger, so that will be top priority on the 26th October. Burn-Cycle and High Volt are also potential possibilities.

I'll be picking up Dimensions this weekend so wave 2 will be coming a little late for me. L.D. is the first "Actual" Toys to life game as far as I'm concerned (Super Charger vehicles get a nod for being toy vehicles in the real world). The Lego kits are toys both in and out of the game. Plus they utilize the game base like nothing I've ever seen and it's an active tool for game play and not just a reader.

I love Lego. I have like a hundred+ sets but dimensions is too expensive. It's a turn off compared to 12$ Skylanders.

My kids love Lego and we have literally tons of Lego toys at home, but I'm gonna pass on Lego Dimensions. While it has several licenses that I really like, such as Back to the Future, LOTR, and Doctor Who, I already spent money on two toys-to-life games (Skylanders Superchargers and Disney Infinity 3.0), and I don't want to spend money on another game that can squeeze my wallet dry. I'm pretty satisfied with Skylanders and DI 3.0, because both offer something a little different, and while I decided to get 3.0 because of Star Wars it actually turns out to be a pretty good game. We'll keep buying other Lego toys, but just not Lego Dimensions.

Im gonna ask if I can go tomorrow to Toys R Us or SOMETHING for High Volt and MAYBE Smash Hit
