Just completed the game...

So I finally beat Kaos and the darkness ordered him to destroy the dark rift engine which would banish the darkness. Kaos walked up to it, but instead of destroyed it he flipped the switch on it which would send the darkness to another dimension. Everyone then left on the ship and acted happy and then the Sky Eater was sucked into a portal and was gone. Then end credits came up for like 20 seconds then what totally caught me off guard is when the darkness came out of the portal with armor pieces from the Sky Eater on. You then have to defeat him and send him away for good. Basically, it was SUPER awesome!

Even if I'm only on the 6th level, i've seen the whole thing and it's INCREDIBLE!

It's good that he spoilered his opinion to keep users from seeing right into the most spoilerific scene of the game.

lol yeah the ending was an awesome surprise. For a few seconds when the "credits" started to roll I thought "Is that it?"...I was pleasantly surprised.

Only thing I don't like about it though is how at the beginning you NEED a sky vehicle to get into the Sky Eater, that means other people with not that much money can't complete the game.

No, you just need to talk to Flynn to skip it. It PRETENDS it's required but if you talk to him he says they could just ram the shield with Sharpfin's ship.

There's multiple levels that play out differently if you don't have a land or sea vehicle. You're almost better off going through the game once with only land vehicles, then throw in the others....or the other way around. Adds a bit to the replay value honestly.

And that credits song continues at the end of the REAL credits. It was a great finale honestly, Darkness managed to be a serious threat but also kept being a fun character to watch, and seeing Kaos slowly fighting the corruption was also pretty cool, VV finally got his character right and it shows here. Tho' I am a bit disappointed because when I saw Darkness' final form in the achievement, he looked much more cooler in artwork than in the game, not to mention they got the Sky Eater's proportions all wrong, as cool as it was to have Darkness wear it as an armor (The thing was a FULL LEVEL, Darkness with the armor on is around the size of Super Evil Kaos or Robo Kaos.


It was a pretty solid finale overall and I can't wait to see what comes up next year.
