Is Skype not working properly for anyone else? [CLOSED]

So, I was on skype, and suddenly, it showed all my contacts offline and that I wasn't connected, as it was showing the blue swirling icon by my name. I logged out, guessing my internet had cut out randomly for a moment, disconnected and reconnected to the wifi, and tried to log into skype again, but it won't log me in.

I upgraded, in case my downgraded version of skype wasn't working. It upgraded, but skype still won't log me in.
It's happening to a friend of mine in Australia, so I'm not the only one.

I can log in on my phone, but it shows everyone offline. Messaging works, but I'm not sure about calling.
The skype website seems to be working, but the community.skype pages and the archives are taking ages to load, with a message saying 'Your request is being processed...' and a weird grey loading bar.

EDIT: I just checked again and it says that The Skype Support Network Community is under maintenance. I didn't know the actual skype application stopped working when maintenance was going on.

Is anybody else having this problem?

I have. With the disconnection issue. GJ microsoft or skype developers, either company you did a good job at screwing up your program. Same with Tumblr staff.

It's ****ing out on me too. And it doesn't help that in general the internet seems to mess up on my laptop in my room so it made me think I wasn't working at all.

Skyep is doing that to me too, but I can still receive and send messages just fine.

Honestly, it feels like at this point Microsoft just wants to make people stop using Skype.
