What is your favorite of the eight original Elements? I like them all, personally, but what is your guys favorite?

Magic, Earth, Water and Fire.

At the beginning, beofre SSA was released, I though air would be my favorite, mainly becase I love flying Skylanders. However time has proved that great flyers can be on any/most of the elements.

That said, I do not have a fvaourite, however since Knight Light is my favourite Skylander, I am somehow attracted to this element. Additionally Dark also appeals to me.

Undead, always - and though you said original only, Dark is a close second. If not that, Magic and Air.
To elaborate:
Undead; I've always liked spooky things(though never horror), and it always seem to be the most varied element in themes.
Dark; when it was first revealed, I thought it'd be the same generic shadow powers from many many games, but the three characters seem to be more relating to what other games would call Void - taking power from strange and unknown and not just the edgy. Spooky like dark though much more eldritch.
Magic; also one of the most varied theming, and if I like fantasy probably magic is a big part of that like. There might be something else that'll add to it, but you'll have to wait until the theory is put to test in SC.

Air is mostly for the individual Skylanders, though the concept of an Element that is everywhere is quite nice.

Mine should be obvious, but tech. Simply due to my first Skylander being Drobot (bought it as I knew I was getting Giants aka my first Skylander game soon) and that we got a tech skylander of a particular name that is similar to my username due to his theme.

Life Has always been my most reliable element in this game , with an honourable mention for Water.

But I gotta say... Magic is really starting to become a great element. The introduction of technical characters lke dune bug and blastermind has really impressed me.

Magic, because it has the most unique characters IMO and it's also the element I have the most skylanders in, 24 to be exact.

Out of the original eight, definitely Magic.
Which other Element is so versatile and full of potential to house a time controlling character, an alien, two beings from another dimension, a shape-shifting... Something and a mystic scarab?

But Dark is definitely on par if not even my favorite of them all.
When it was first leaked I thought "Meh... Do we really need another spooky and creepy Element...? There is already Undead for that!".
But then Blackout and Knight Mare came out.
And now Nightfall.

I mean... WOW.
I definitely wasn't hoping for that level of awesomeness.

Honorable mentions to Light and Life.
I love how the former covers all the space/holy-themed goodness while its opposite is more about the dark unknow depths of the cosmos (and not only that. The sea is not that different from outer space, after all... ).
They really found their space among the other Elements.
Life's Gimmicklanders are nothing special to me but the Cores are always outstanding.

My favorite Element is Magic, simply because it has the best roster so far.
SSA: You can't really judge it, as it was the first game and the character designs weren't that good. (Except for Hex, she saved this title from being far more down the list)
SG: Ninjini; one of the most anticipated Skylanders, while Pop Fizz was (for some reason) a fan favorite.
SSF: Hoot Loop & Dune Bug; not the biggest fan of, but unique and refreshing gameplay is what counts when it comes to those two. Star Strike & Trap Shadow; overall amazing characters.
STT: By far the best roster an Element could have in only one game. Deja Vu has become my second favorite Skylander, Enigma's in my Top 10, maybe even Top 5, Cobra Cadabra has amazing gameplay and I love the idea behind him and Blastermind is... ok.

Though for this game, my favorite Element is Undead (also my second favorite Element overall). And that's because of two reasons... Fiesta & Roller Brawl... nuff' said.
As much as I love Splat and the Magic Element, Pop Fizz just ruined it for me.

Here are my favorite elements:

Undead - Has always been my favorite element for having such fun, spooky and even intimidating members with very fun game play. Every game to this day has a character from this element to become my all time favorite character from each game with , , and , and , and finally Fiesta.

Magic - I agree with most people that magic certainly does have the most unique characters I've ever seen. Instead of just making simple mages, we have time controllers, tikis, orcs, flute charming cobras, potion throwing gremlins, a mighty beetle mage, fan reflecting wizards, an enigma without even a face and now a faun who fights with paint. The magic element truly has the most creative and versatile cast of heroes compared to most elements.

Water - Even though most are fish and seem to have an annoying habit of everyone has to be blue policy, this element does have some fun characters in it and I am happy provided some variety to this elements' color pallet.

Undead, Water, Life, and Magic.

I don't know wether I like magic or undead more! On the one hand, in magic, we have a time lord, two other dimensions creatures, some genius... what ever Blastermind is, and a mutant grub worm. But in undead, I just like all of the characters, except funnybone

I'm going with Undead. I'd say Chill and Ninjini are my favorite skylanders but I think overall the undead skylanders tend to be the most fun to play as. Least favorite would be Life.

Undead has been my favorite since the beginning and so far it's the only element I've collected all the characters. I love all designs in this element and even though it has some weak characters like Night Shift or Funny Bone it compensate with beasts like Hex or Bat Spin.
Air is my second favorite, though I was a little disappointed with Trap Team characters, except for Blades. Third place goes to Magic.
Light & Dark also have a lot of great characters but I don't consider them favorites, yet.

Special mention to Fire which used to be my least favorite element but has been growing on me a lot since Swap Force with awesome characters such as Fire Kraken, Smolderdash or Kaboom.

Undead and Tech, because they both appeal to my interests of ghosts and robots.

I'd have to say magic, despite the fact that it has some pretty weak Skylanders. To me it's the most surprising and original element (but also kind of disappointing). Tech would have to be my second.

skylandersspyro it's the 8 elements not including Light and Dark.

Probably for me Fire and Undead they always come up with pretty awesome and strong characters (Ex: Wildfire, Short Cut, Blast Zone, Roller Brawl, Grim Creeper, Sunburn, Chop Chop)

Tech has always been my favorite with air being a close second. My least favorite has always been magic.

I would have loved a banana element

Yes I know that clashes with both my name and picture, but at the end of the day, water is always the most difficult for me to choose when I make my team. Every play through I grab one skylander of each element to play and put them on when the portal specifies. Everyone else in the house also has their teams. This also prevented the little ones from changing figs every 15 seconds by having them wait until the game asked for a change.

Anyway, earth and water are always the toughest choices, but water really gets the edge as I always want to grab the old Gill Grunt, Wham Shell and Thumpback standbys, but the new characters are usually great as well. Two of my top Five Trapsters would have to be Lob-star and Snap Shot. I can't think of a single character from Water I flat out dislike.

It's tough to say what my absolute favourite element would be. With such a diverse assortment of traits within each one, I think that most of them are pretty neat. If I had to rank them, though...

he isn't asking what elements you LIKE, he's asking what element is your FAVORITE
If I asked you which skylander is your fave, and you listed two, I'd understand, but if you listed 50 out of the 100 or so unique skylanders, I'd be like, seriously? That's too many "favorites"!

All elements are powerful in their own right and that is why I don't have a favourite
