the xbox one would have better performance and graphics, but the wii u has more people playing on it for online racing, plus the skymiibo.

Xbone is all of that minus

If you are interested in the Skymiibos then definitely go with the Wii U version.
You won't be able to play as them, otherwise.

It's really the only thing it has in addiction to what the XBOX ONE's already has but it might still be an important factor for you.

I'm pretty sure you don't have to pay for online on Xbox anymore , u just need an account . unless my accounts broken and just lets me do it anyway
