Cant you only use 1 vehicle on the portal???

Er.. nope. Two can be on the Portal at once.

Cool.Why cant they do that in story mode so both of you have vehicles to drive.And if you only have one you can do one player drives and the other player shoots.

Sorry to be rude but you don't leave the vehicle on the portal. You take it, load it into the game for player 1 then take it off and load another one for player two. After that point it doesn't matter whats on the portal.

The vehicle can probably be put halfway through the portal. Just lean two on the edges and don't touch that portal for the remainder of the session.

The measurement for Hot Streak is incorrect. It's smaller. Why so? I own one and have personally tested it. It's only a teeny pinch longer than Wash Bucker's base. Buckler + Terrabite is much larger.

So, please stop saying I'm incorrect when I've had on hand experience with these things already.

fitting on the new portal is irrelevant, as his point that they made it a POINT to let you use old portals this time is ACTUALLY valid, and you've done nothing to invalidate said point except change the subject. A classic strawman tactic

I won't, however, let you strawman your way out of his valid argument that it is actually one of the smallest vehicles from what we can see, it's biggest dimension seeming dwarfed by the wingspan of Sea Shadow and Clown Cruiser...

And yet, You'd have TWO giants AND a vehicle... AND a magic item, and we're talking about the CLASSIC portals, not the DEMO portals... ("This game is well focused on allowing the use of classic portals")

so, let's see, try fitting 4 wash bucklers and a magic item on say, the Traptanium portal... Can't do it? That's why they can't let you use 2 vehicles in campaign mode... because not everyone (and by not everyone, I mean everyone who bought a Portal Owner's Pack this time around) could fit 2 vehicles, and 2 of their desired characters (if they were both giants)... that would cause the old portals to not be FULLY compatible with the new game and the new game to not be FULLY compatible with the old characters, because there would be hardware limitations on the use of them...
If you can't fit them in the most extreme case, then you can't fit them at all, that's a good code to live by...
Kids don't like rules, they don't like being told they can't do something because they don't have the newest one...


Besides, does ANYONE want to live with having the TETHER in vehicle sections? Because they'd still need to do that for the vehicle sections in story mode, to prevent things like sequence breaking, causing skylanders/vehicles to get stuck on opposite sides of scripted events, etc...

And no, 2 vehicles CAN'T be used, even if they can FIT... there's a big difference.

Saying they "can be USED" implies that it actually WORKS, while saying "they can FIT" does NOT.

He's right that they don't work, and therefore can't be USED, you're right because they FIT, which is what you MEANT by USED...

I'm curious about 4 player mode. Will 4 Skylanders and 4 Viechles fit? I think each portal might hold 2 Skylanders and 2 Viechles but you need to hook up a second portal to play (Witch I think is the reason why previous portals work). Then again this coming from someone who played the 3DS version.

The only four player mode in the console versions is online, with there only being two player local. 3DS can manage more. But, here's another question: Does everyone need a cartridge of Superchargers when playing four-player-local in the 3DS version?

What about the wii version?
