I was able to get my hands on a starter pack early. Are they not making the Stat cards anymore? It came with a poster of all the figures of course and a foil pack of cards for battle cast for stealth elf and spitfire. Are these cards taking the place of the normal Stat cards? These cards don't have stats on them. I can't remember how to post pics but if I take the time to figure it out I'll post some pics if that helps.

does this work? So we only get the Stat cards in the other packages not the starter pack or will each figure come wirh a battle cast card like this now? These are then only cards I see

I'm not interested in battle cast at all. I kind of miss the cards they've been using but I know they have to promote their new product.

The first picture doesn't show but the link can be put into a new tag,at least for me.

Well, at least the cards are themed after the Starter Pack skylanders and not a random blind bag.

I wouldn't mind the battle cast stuff it's just that there are a million other card games already and thus one doesn't appear to have anything different it's just skylanders instead of "insert any franchise here" I guess at least it has the character you get in the pack so I can just use my mind to believe it's a Stat card lol.

Could you possibly post pics (on flickr) of the battlecast cards?

I'm fine with that. The stats never stay the same like they are on the card anyway. I was hoping they would do that.
