I think we should be able to change our username so if we don't like our username anymore, we can go ahead and change it. If people want other people to know that he/she is the same person, then he/she can just right is in his/her signiture. But there should be a limet so it wont get out of hand. So maby you can change your username 3 times and thats it.

I think an absolute limit of username changes would get some people mad; instead, how about limit the number of username changes by the number of gems you have? For example, spend 50 gems to change your username; if you change your mind, you have to spend another 50. Since the number of gems can only affect what color sparx you are - which in essence literally means nothing but status - buying the option to change your username doesn't hurt, does it?

Good idea. But still, I think 50 jems is a little bit too much... what about 40 or 35?

It's just an example. The amount should reflect how often the admin would want to see someone change his/her username. I don't think it's something encouraged, so a high gem cost would be likely if changing usernames is allowed at all.

People change, so why can't be changed out usernames? I mean, I had a pretty life changing experience over the summer, which is when I decided on my alias Shenzi Sixaxis.

I'd like this. Though I like my username the way it is, it would be a nice feature for those who might not.

There should also be a way to keep track of who has changed their name if this is implemented. Maybe a required message in signatures or a page that shows recent name changes.

Well think of gems as how much currency you have, rather than how long of a member you've been. A change in the system might be needed to reflect this; perhaps reserve gems solely for spending and keep length of time you've been a member restricted to whatever color sparx you are. Then, the color of your sparx rank would not be dependent on gems, but on some other criteria, like just how long you've been on this site in general.

It sounds like a good idea. I think it would be an awesome addition to the site. I may even add it to my site eventually

well if you think gems show how long you've been here we could have say like dragon eggs wich you get evry week but like 100 a week soo there no object

I agree, but since when is negitive two hundred-something gems justifiable?

I thought about changing my username once, but I like Cloudtail4ever, despite not being a huge Cloudtail fangirl anymore.

And I like Ghakimx, even though i'm disliking the 'x' in it now.

well people say gems show how long you been on ste but thy dont they show how much you post dont they caz if i left the site on red sparks for 10 years and came back on il still be a red sparxs when i return

I hope you can change usernames. I don't care if I have to lose 80 of my gems to change my username. I think Cynder_543 is really boring and I'm begining to hate it more and more. DX

I think my username is more plain than most users username ._. no caps or numbers.I woulld like to change my username to Twilight Wolf1 or one of my other usernames.

Yes, you get bored of your username after a while, but that dosn't mean u have to change it. On Whirled you can and I cannot tell who's who. I keep getting confused which is why I never change mine. The best thing is if we keep our usernames the same.

Personally, I could allow minor name changes such as capitals and spaces.
