I recently reached out to David Rodriguez, one of the writers of the IDW Skylander comics, and asked if he could do a Q&A interview regarding Skylanders Malefor. He was allowed to, and me and a couple of fans of SkyMalefor asked him several fan questions about SkyMalefor and his Return of the Dragon King comic debut.

I liked the part where David mentioned that if he was allowed to bring back a character from the LoS into the Skylanders universe in the comics, he would try at Hunter.

It's a very nice read, and confirms a lot about his personality. Some of his responses are funny as well, I don't think he knows the old strategy guides of the games had several errors - though the other dimension thing was in the SSA Sticker Book, I think?

I liked how he mentioned Count Moneybone and Malefor not getting along very well due to their Underworld statuses. X3

I read it, he even asked my question. Even i thought it was dumb question to ask.

It wasn't dumb, it provided a very detailed info on Malefor's armor. I didn't even know he used the armor to store magical energy (if you're not counting on the crystal Calliope gave him) and fully escape the Underworld.

Hmm, fair enough.

That helped at least to understand why he has Armor.
