Looking a bit dull but might be just the lack of music.

I really like it! I mean its a mix of Skystones in Giants and Skystones Smash!

It looks exactly like Skystones Smash.

But it's vehicle themed so it's totally new and kewl.

Not that I missed Skystones Smash at all. The game had absolutely no room for more inventive strategies or difficulty curves except when it threw endgame cards at you on early levels(which is not a curve); it's nothing like having to beat Quigley's 5x Axecutioner team with cards severely weaker(which,sure,most people took it as endgame cards in the beginning of the game and just came back with Conquetron,but iirc it's possible to beat him with the single 4-spike sided cards),you just lose because your numbers aren't big enough.

This is the first time we've seen Skystones Overdrive so yes it's new.

No doubt someone will sell Skystones Cards to skip that mini-game.

So, I managed to watch the video, and honestly, besides the meter in the corner, and the fact vehicles can be used as Skystones, what's the difference between that and Skystones Smash?

I just don't get how this qualifies as a new minigame. They could've just said Skystones Smash was returning.

I am being sacastic. It just looks like Skystone Smash again.

I like the animations, but the board looks a bit busy color wise. I'm sure I'll just have to adjust to the VV color scheme (again).

So it's pretty much the same as Trap Team. A little disappointing, Skystones was too easy and kinda boring in this game.
And I agree with Lemons, the animations are nice but there's too much going on the board. It might be the video quality but I can hardly see the stones' attack strenght with this bright light.

There is one difference. Did anyone else notice that the battle, attacks, or whatever you want to call it happens after each player plays a card? In skystone smash it happened after both of you had played a card.
