I'm only curious about thrillipede being able to fly or not. However, recent info has proved he's a millipede which diminishes this possibility.

But his hometown is called Flutter Bay, which sounds like it has something to do with flying. There might still be hope!

While watching footage on Youtube, I took notes on each Skylander's (seeming) powers. I'll list them here for people who haven't seen it:

    Feista:

Primary attack?: Plays his trumpet and makes musical notes.
Secondary attack?: Summon ghost props. (By which I mean anything that attacks enemies for you, examples of what I define as a 'prop' would be Pop Fizz's beaker drones, Sonic Boom's hatchlings, etc.)
    Tertiary attack?: A Foot stomp.

Observation notes: Looks focused on prop-based warfare.

    Dive-Clops:

    Primary attack?: Launches homing torpedoes.
    Secondary attack?: A big explosion.
Tertiary attack?: Dive-Clops stands in place and sprays water, which knocks enemies away.

Observation notes: A probable ranged specialist; looks like a high-potential Skylander. Movement speed is slow.

    Stormblade:

    Primary attack?: Shoots lasers
Secondary attack?: A high speed charge
Tertiary attack?: Leaps and blades fly around her in an 'X' shape.

    Observation notes: Looks fairly unremarkable.

    Spitfire:

    Primary attack?: A fiery punch.
    Secondary attack?: A fiery charge.
Tertiary attack?: A fiery uppercut that leaves a giant funnel of flames behind; the funnel will attack enemies on its own.

Observation notes: A probable close-range specialist that doesn't need to stand still for long; looks like a high potential Skylander.

Fiesta's tertiary attack is a rose storm that he can hold onto by shrinking into just his skull and hat, not a foot stomp.

It was stated in his backstory in the rift into overdrive comic, which I posted in the general discussion thread, and Bifrost posted in the main news thread now.

I think Dive-Clops' explosion is actually a sonar-like pulse which make the torpedoes automatically track down enemies.

Nightfall also seems to have a bit of a dash move, where she dives into the shadows to avoid obstacles and attacks through them with projectiles - very much like Cynder's original Shadow Dash from Dawn of the Dragon, where the fully upgraded version would also shoot things.

I love that the shark tank can go underground during racing to avoid other drivers . It may have to be my favourite land vehicle . Shield striker with its electro bubble shield is a close second . Defense abilities are awesome. smilie

No. Stormblade cannot fly but she can glide when you attack with her in the air.

My plan is to list all the upgrades for the characters, but I don't have the game, so I need help from other users.

Can anyone with the official strategy guide describe thirillipede's skill involving sprouting wings on his back? Unsure if it is a flight mechanic or some kind of explosive attack.

    THRILLIPEDE:
If you choose the "Mighty Morphosisis" Path... then he can fly otherwise he can't if you choose the "Insistent Insect" path.
    Mighty Morphsis Path:
1st upgrade: 'Better Fly" and involves holding attack 3 to wrap yourself in a cocoon to protect yourself from damage, release to explode out and grow wings. While flying hold attack one to bombard enemies with Bug Bombs.
2nd upgrade path: "Bugging Out" and increases damage of all thrown grenade projectiles.
3rd upgrade:"Tick It To 'Em" and pressing attack 2 while jumping will toss sticky grenades below you.

VS "Insistent Insect" Path..You use insect swarms to hinder and damage your enemies.
1st upgrade: "Gnawing Gnats": bug bombs can now cause a swarm of tiny insects to appear and do damage over time. hitting targets again with Bug Bomb will remove the swarm and cause extra damage.
2nd upgrade: "Nesting Gnats":The damage over time by the swarming insects can stack up to 5 times, doubling it's damage.
3rd upgrade: "Insect Epidemic": Targets affected by the damage over time from the swarm explode spreading the swarm to nearby enemies.

Soul Gem Ability- When sticky Grenades blow up, they will release butterflies that heal you when caught. Each butterfly restores 10% of max health.

    STARTING STATS:
    MAX HEALTH: 250
    SPEED:50
    ARMOR:12
    CRITICAL HIT: 8
    ELEMENTAL POWER:25

    Basic Attacks:
Bug Bomb: Attack 1 throws cocoon grenades at your enemies slowing them down in a cloud of bugs.
Bug Brawl: Attack 2 uses arms to punch nearby enemies

    Initial Upgrades:
Cocooned: Hold Attack 3 to wrap yourself in a cocoon, protecting yourself from damage. When you release you explode out and damage nearby enemies.
Bug N' Cover: Press Attack 1 to throw a grenade into a swarm of dragonflies which slows enemy movement.
Mind Your Beeswax: Hold Attack 2 to prepare 4 sticky grenades that you can place as a trap in the ground or directly onto an enemy.
Cocooties: Hold Attack 3 to wrap yourself in a cocoon protecting yourself from damage, release to explode out which damages and slow nearby enemies.
Courtesy of the Printed Prima Game Guide.. I would love to say I have him, but I don't LOL..
Also Available on iOS or Android for $2.99.. I have the book so I am not sure of what information is included regarding characters but it has the maps FYI..

Thanks fun mom, I was really lookink forward for this informationsmilie

So he can fly, that's amazing! He'll probably have some time limit, but is still much more than what I expected. He has become my favourite supercharger. I think I'll even get the eastern variant (i know, I know, lots of people doesn't like it)

Can someone list the default powers and base upgrades of Thrillipede? It's also good if someone has the powers of other characters.
But, It's good that you use the official descriptions of the Guide.
