Oh, I know that, but what's with the dislike for Stormblade? IMO, she's actually one of the best looking characters this game. Also, there's Stealth Elf who has even more variants and has been in more starters, but doesn't get nearly as much hate as Jet-Vac or even Gill (who hasn't had one colour variant in spite of many reposes).
