PART ONE: STRANGE
Spyro twitched and turned in his sleep the voices of his past echoing around his mind;

'Spyro Stop?'
'Sparx you can't come with me'
'Ignitus Noo!'
'I feel so alone'
'Cynder No!'
'The world is breaking apart'
'I love you!'

Spyro awoke. He panted with relief and fright. Sweat trickled down his head and neck. he slwoly dragged himself to a sitting position then shook his head. For so many days the voices had been huanting him through his dreams. Each dream with different voices. Spyro was worried, angry and scared all at once.
"Spyro," whispered a voice behind the purple wreck. The voice made Spyro jump slightly. He turned his head around to meet Cynder. Cynder sat there too staring at him with her emerald eyes.
"Oh its you." Spyro forced a bit of a smile on his face.
"Are you okay?" She asked thoughtfully. Spyro sighed.
"No. Its these...Nightmares. They won't stop," he replied. Cynder went to hugg Spyro. A flash back dashed through Spyro's mind and just as Cynder went to rub him on the cheeck a spark ignited in the air between them. The two friends looked at one another their eyes crossed with confusion.
"What was that?" Cynder said. Spyro shrugged. Suddenly he felt and strange horrible feeling course through him.
"Arrg! Uurrg!" He breathed. Then unexpecticly he collapsed to the ground. He started to twitch again.
"Spyro! Spyro wake up! Stop fooling!"

PART TWO: THE CURSING DREAM
Spyro awoke again to total darkness. So much darkness in fact it looked like Spyro was floating. He felt as though all his energy had been drained. Where was he?
"Cynder? Cynder are you there?" He shouted. There was no reply.
"Hm seems as though you still care about that betrayer," someone grumbled. Spyro glanced around.
"Who was that?" Spyro asked. There was silence then two glowing orbs formed in front of him. But they were not orbs...they were eyes!
"Spyro gazed into them and felt that electric feel zapping his nerve system again. He twitched and strecthed uncontrolably.
"Hahaha," chuckled the evil voice, "you can feel the darkness corrupting you! Hahah! Why are you so sure that you'll be destined for great things?" It asked. Imitating Ignitus's words. Spyro went to scratch the eyes but everything disapeared...

PART THREE: THE FIRE SPIRIT
Spyro flashed his eyes open. Cynder, Sparx and the three remaining guardians looked at him. Spyro felt wet.
"What happend?"
"Well you started having this kinda fit where this purple electric started to wrap around you. Then you fell asleep or something and now here you are, dretched," explained Sparx.
"And why's that?" Spyro replied.
"Because it was my idea to pour water over you to make to wake up." Spyro said nothing and got to his feet.
"Spyro. What happened?" Urged Terrador. Spyro closed his eyes tightly.
"Well there was darkness...a voice...and eyes," he breathed. Suddenly the purple electric was back. Spyro started make whimpering sounds. Then the ground began to shake and the temple began to crumble.
"Spyro stop! Open your eyes," yelled Cynder. Spyro tried to but it was has if there was an invisible paw pulling his eyelids closed shut.
"I can't!" Spyro then began to float slightly off the ground. His eyes opened. However they weren't his usual ones. They glowed a pure white. Shadows whirled around his body. Spyro landed on the floor and the earthquake stopped. Cynder panted with fright.
"Oh no! Spyro stop it! Please!" She cried. Spyro glared at her and pounced. However Cynder was protected by a big wing shielded in front of her. The wing did not belong to any of the guardians in the room. It belonged to a grand ruby red wing. Although the dragon itself was not real like you and I. It was all misty but 3D. Spyro arched his back.
"Ah Ignitus, come to join the show," he chuckled. (Ignitus had come back as his dragon spirit) Ignitus looked at Spyro.
"Young dragon I haven't trained you for the past two years for you to let the darkness over come you. Let it go Spyro," he said quite calmly. Spyro did nothing but roared loudly. The two began to circle one another. Spyro growled showing two rows of gleaming white teeth.
Ignitus crossed his eyes angrily.
Cynder sat to the side with the others staring at Spyro sadly. What had happened to him?
Spyro lunged on Ignitus and bit him hard on the chest. Ignitus was a little too slow for the attack and started to yell with pain. Tears began to form in Cynder's eyes. She leaped on Spyro pinning him down.
