Wasn't it mentioned that this game's story occurs after Swap Force, but before Trap Team?

As I know, the producers said that there's not a fixed timeline for the series, and events can happen at any given time. Or, simply SuperChargers continues Trap Team and have plot holes.

Sort of. But Kaos doesn't have reasons to use Traps. The Traps can only be used in Villains, and can harm Kaos himself.

It may not be explained in the game, but it will be a big plot point in the upcoming comic, rift into overdrive.

That, and I don't read the supplimentaries (except Onk Beakman's stuff) because I can't find physical versions here (digital isn't fun to curl up with), their lore seems equally messy and I what I did read didn't interest me.


The bad thing is for me, that lives in a country that do not get any Skylanders merchandise (aside from the cases that have space for less than half of the figures from the first game). I will need to find the details online.
