If you are a member of the game skylanders club you can preorder wave 1:
The prices are way more expensive
A skylander is now £12.99
A vehicle is £14.99
The gill grunt pack is £34.99

The prices for the superchargers i expected to be at £11.99 due to they matched lightcore prices before this.....sigh a shame that we have to pay the same price as the US ones pretty much. Racing action packs i expected to be the same price as the US ones, just need prices for triple and double packs now....

Welp at least I planed ahead of time and saved up 200 £.

I'm going to be buying less after wave 1....probably gonna avoid steel-plated smash hit completely but looking at at least getting whatever legendaries there are as well as nitro stealth stinger day 1 hopefully we will know the variants come the 20th depending on how the 3ds game is done menu wise/via the guidebook....hopefully

If I were you I'd just get you're favorites.
For example at swap force launch I picked two swappers .
And one adventure pack ( Tower of Time )
The starter pack.
And called it a day since they were my favorites.
Basically use you're money wisely think about what you really need.
If you want to get it all you really need the money ahead of time.

Usually pick up the ones i like I don't get everything but have usually gotten most of the variants, smash hit was tempted by as its a day 1 variant but its green....lol and it doesnt really suit it, as well as frightful fiesta being based on the day of the dead mixed with Halloween (putting orange on his face takes away what hes meant to represent as its Americanizing it) but I will be getting him regardless, I love the undead characters
I'm pretty much sorted money wise as I've budgeted wisely, just hope I can get everything easily instead of having to do online orders as well, but sadly wont know till the variants locations are announced really, always usually go for the variant of a character I like, rarely double up
