- the fact the gimmick still encourages combinations of some sort;
- in-game proper cutscenes (Trap Team had it too but SWAP Force introduced them to the series);
Sincerely hope they won't touch Lob-Star since I personally consider him to be one of the strongest characters around.
Drek, I sincerely respect you but
You're joking right?
The most damage Lob-Star does is 60, until you boil him, which takes forever
Proportionately his main attack does the equivelent of 10 damage in Swap Force
You know you can jump while he's still boiling to immediately end the animation and still gain the power boost, right...?
Also he's one of the few Trap Masters with a strong and highly controllable dash attack, has a devastating AoE ability, is truly versatile in many situations and on the upper path his stars can pierce through enemies to attack other ones.
He might have low numbers but that's not what interests me the most in a character.
I simply know he can wipe out an advanced Doom Challenge on Medium even without being maxed out.
Quote: Skylander3112The only gimmick in SSC is the supercharged combo, that's it. What do you get when you put a non-matching pair together? ... nothing, except looking at and wondering how they fit in the vehicle. Mixing and matching were better in SSF because you get to use two different Skylanders' abilities at once, but not in SSC.
It still encourages you to try and drive with all your collection and also use your traps to gain special elemental boosts.
Not to mention you can also mod the vehicles to experiment with the different part combinations.
I mean... The game literally
forces you to always have a vehicle on the Portal to simply play and nothing on Earth will make me swap my Pop Thorn or Rocky Roll when approaching a vehicle area just because they won't supercharge the vehicle I'm about to use (at least not always).
Might as well see how they drive.
