My younger sister has a theory on why Moneybags loves all the gems in the realms. (yet, they're random... go easy on her. She's eleven. But she has a open imagination)

Moneybags is a fan of the gems- He eats them, he eats them so much! The blue are his favorite. They remind him of his grandpa's sweaty armpit hair, and "yummy". The green just make him want to vomit. The red ones give him gas. Golden gems give him heart disease.

Why she knows this--She went to his house to eat to dinner, since his favorite are blue, when he eats alone--that's all he makes. But when he has guests, he makes the whole buffet.

Now we have revealed the truth of Moneybags' glorious gems. What a dirty pig! She made it up all on her own. Full credit goes to my sister while I was playing Spyro 2 on the PS2.

Course she didn't say anything about they're flavor and such like your sister did, for she dove for the silly string and noodles right after she said it.
