Will other Dark editions be available at Toys R Us other than Wii. I have seen no pre-order cards at the store and no pre-order online for anything other than Wii Dark Edition. ANYBODY?

I'd assume so...

Last year I tried to get a Dark Edition (because of the discount sale that they typically run on day one) but they said that they don't get them in, it's a special online only order. So really your best bet is to call them up and ask as it's really anyone's guess what they'll do.

I *know* the following:

My primary TRU had the Wii Dark edition that I purchased.
My secondary TRU *only* had the PS4 dark edition when I went to exchange.
My primary TRU did have the Wii U dark edition when I went there to exchange.

So, they did carry at least some dark editions in at least some stores.

I want to get it there for the first day sale, but it seems weird that online and in store you can pre-order all the regular editions but only the Dark Edition for the Wii. Last year you were able to pre-order all everything they had available, including all Dark editions. That is why I find it very strange that none are available for pre-order.

Best bet is to talk to the manager of the store, when trap team dark edition came out I was able to pick it up no problem and no Pre order for 360 and had multiple console versions available for 2-3 days since launch date. this year going with game stop because I was able to pay in full for it so all I gotta do is pick it up after I go to tru and put wave one on layaway minus the ones I want day one. Good luck

pez, is TRU your only option? I have the 360 & Wii U versions coming from Best Buy (w/ Gamer's Club discount).

No, but since I am getting the Wii Dark edition I wanted to take advantage of the sale that Toys R Us does. I believe last year was B1G1 50% off for the first hour. I have gamers club unlocked too, but can't use it for Wii Dark.

That is the sale which I took advantage of as well last year to get a 360 and 3ds set. I wanted a dark 360 set but my store carried none of the darks at all. I'm surprised others here were able to get dark sets in store so I guess talking to the managers is your only option as each store is probably different in what they'll stock.

Ahhh, gotcha. Did they do the BOGO50 on the Dark Starters last year too? I only used it on the sets & figures.

Yes, it was on everything Skylanders. I got the the Wii U and the 3DS starters. They gave half the price of the cheaper one.
