it's simple. put down a list of the roster, and give opinions.

I'll start!

Spitfire- Looks REALLY cool in regular form. dark is eh. i played as him at the game lounge during comic-con, he's fast but powerful.
LL Eruptor- best eruptor i've seen.
Thrillipede- i like this guy!he's kinda underrated.
SS Stealth Elf- eh.
Dive Clops- my second favorite new character! i love his bazooka.
DD Gill Grunt- easily my favorite returner. at first i was like "gill grunt. seriously?" then i saw gameplay and i was like "oh cool, tridents."
Fiesta- my favorite new character. my family has a soft spot for day of the dead stuff (we're not even mexican) and he really hit a note with me!
BB Roller Brawl- Nice to see someone other than chop chop or cynder come back.
Stormblade- she looks fun to play as! plus, bird hips don't lie.
Hurricane Jet Vac- dosen't look too different from regular jet vac.
Splat- Looks like she has LOTS of potential!
BB Pop Fizz- Ugh. least favorite returner.
Smash Hit- from what i've seen, i'll buy him. wrecking balls are cool, yo.
SS Terrafin- AKA gamecube fist terrafin. it's a pretty unique take on the character.
High Volt- this guy is my least favorite. why, you ask? because i thought he'd be cool... before we saw higher rez images and found out he was UGLY as heck!
DD Trigger Happy- AWESOME.
Nightfall- predator-like skylander? YES.
Astroblast- looks like luminous, and that makes me happy!
HS Bowser- eh.
TC Donkey Kong- eh.

Spitfire - Sweet, getting him
Splat - Sweet, getting her
Nightfall - Pretty cool, think I'll get her for a sea supercharged combo since I want Sea Shadow
Smash Hit - Looks like I'm getting him. Maybe Steel Plated version
Other new - Meh. They look poor so far imo
Hammer Slam Bowser - Sweet. Def want Bowser here.
Turbo Charge Donkey Kong - Ugh y u ruin Donkey Kong

Shark Shooter Terrafin - Sweet Terrafin, I actually think he looks good now for the first time. - still not getting though
Deep Dive Gill Grunt - Much better than before, but still stinks.
Double Dare Trigger Happy - Poor clothing or whatever, but the toy is awesome.
Other reposes - All worse than before, and some were cool before - not now.

Sea Shadow - AMAZING - def get
Thump Truck - Looks great, dunno if worth having another land vehicle though....
Rest - Meh...
Barrel Blaster - like a lot
Clown Cruiser - poor but I don't like any Sky vehicles and it's in 3DS version so there's my sky vehicle

In Astroblast cases yeah we can't say much since we've seen NOTHING on him but by Looks he looks great.

Fire:
Spitfire: Best starter pack character in every Skylanders game, Looks cool and has EPIC attacks!
LL Eruptor: He does look pretty cool, Though we haven't seen much, By his looks it looks like he will "LANCE" With that spike on his hand.

Air:
Stormblade: Wasn't too fond of her at first but shes defiantly grown on me.
Hurricane Jet-Vac: Probably my Least favorite repose. Doesn't have much of a new look, Still has his Air Gun (which i did like) But i was hoping for something new. Has grown on me a bit.

Earth:
Smash Hit: We haven't seen much of him AT ALL but, He does look pretty sick. Has an epic giant wrecking ball, And he looks to be a Chipmunk! NINJA CHIPMUNK!
Shark Shooter Terrafin: My favorite new repose! Love his attacks and his cool armor

Life:
Thrillipede: He looks pretty cool. Thought he looked weird at first but he doesn't look that bad. Can't wait to see some attacks!
Super Shot Stealth Elf: Even though shes not really that stealthy... Her jumpsuit isn't stealthy her cannon isn't stealthy, But even at that, She still is pretty cool! I'll enjoy shooting from range. Maybe THAT is stealthy, THEY WONT EVEN SEE THE SHOOTING COMING

Water:
Dive-Clops: Didn't like him at first, After seeing gameplay this was me
Deep Dive Gill Grunt: Really surprised me! I knew there was going to be a new Gill Grunt and I was kinda like Eh whatever. New Gill grunt Yayyyyy, But then seeing him, Loved it. I loved the new attacks and the trident.

Tech:
High Volt: Looks AWESOME! The one attack we saw means hes pretty ELECTRIFIED! I don't even get that but i'm pretty excited for him! Glad hes in Wave 2
DD Trigger Happy: We haven't seen him that much. Really looking forward to his new attacks!

Undead:
Fiesta: Honestly, Don't hate me but i'm not a fan of him. I like the minion thing, Like his looks but I'm not a fan of his main attack.
Bone Bash Roller Brawl: What can I say. We haven't see her much AT ALL. Like her looks though.

Magic:
Splat: She looks really cool! I like her design and I like the paint splatterin'
Big Bubble Pop Fizz: Looks cool. Most People don't like him but I REALLY do

Light:
Astroblast: Favorite Character so far! Can't wait to see gameplay!

Dark:
Nightfall: Second favorite. I hope she has a hair whip :3

Spitfire: definitely a breath of fresh air for the Fire Element.
Creative design and interesting gameplay.

Stormblade: a bit too similar to Free Ranger under many aspects but still unique.
Not one of my favorites but could easily end up surprising me.

Dive-Clops: great design and gameplay.
Doesn't scream "Water" but suits the Element perfectly.
As I already said he's the most Tfb-ish character V.V. has made so far.

Smash Hit: definitely not expected but I like how he looks so tiny and yet so powerful.
A nice and promising addiction to Earth.

Fiesta: he looks too much modern and Infinity-esque for my tastes but the concept is brilliant and his gameplay looks amazing!

Thrillipede: didn't see another insect coming so soon after High Five but I like it!
Really intrigued to see how his gameplay will be.

Splat: really interesting look and weapon.
I'm sure her abilities won't disappoint me at all.

High Volt: might have a simple gameplay but they could always find ways to spice it up.
Can't say he's my favorite look-wise but I definitely like his style.

Nightfall: looks really different now that we have a clear picture of her toy form.
She might easily become one of my favorite characters if she turns out to be what I think she will...

Astroblast: looks like Luminous which is indeed a good thing but isn't really from the same species.
Really curious to see his attacks and animations (I think he might hover around with a light-powered jet-pack on his back).

Well, I can't say much on gameplay for most of these since all we've seen are pictures of brief snippits, so I'll keep it to designs.

-Splat: Very interested to see a goat Skylander, haven't seen that before. I'm hoping she does have paint abilities.
-BB Pop Fizz: Pop Fizz is one of my faves, so glad to see he's coming back. Don't get what's up with the tuba though.

-High-Volt: Very neat design. Looks like he'll be more defensive than most Tech Skylanders.
-DD Trigger Happy: Doesn't really look like they changed him up too much aside from giving him a white uniform.

-Thrillipede: Flynn and High Five's fan fiction love child. But seriously though, not exactly my favorite so far.
-SS Stealth Elf: I still don't get why a ninja, a master of stealth, is using a mini gun and is wearing football armor.
-TC Donkey Kong: Gonna be my main.

-Dive-Clops: Meh. ...That's all I got.
-DD Gill Grunt: Acti, why don't you just marry Gill Grunt and make him the mascot since you love him so much!?

-Spitfire: Looks pretty cool. Still not sure how he drives without legs, but then again I'm questioning Skylanders logic.
-LL Eruptor: Not sure why they decided to make him a knight of all things, but looks all right.
-HS Bowser: He looks like a beast. I might get the Wii Dark Pack for Christmas just to play as him.

-Smash-Hit: It's Short Cut all over again! But seriously though again, he looks okay.
-SS Terrafin: Day one buy, hopefully with Shark Tank.

-Stormblade: Basically looks like Free Ranger 2.0 to me...
-H Jet-Vac: ...It really doesn't look like they changed his moves that much.
(Yeah, Air's my least favorite element, and this installment's not really helping my mind be changed)

-Fiesta: He looks like he'll be fun to play as.
-BB Roller Brawl: ALL OF MY YES.

-Astroblast: Looks cool, but honestly, I'm more glad we finally got a Skylander whose name starts with the letter A.

-Nightfall: She looks SCARY. I like it.

I like all the characters so far.

LIGHT
Astroblast - Looks pretty awesome, though I expected him to look a bit more otherworldly

EARTH
Smash Hit - How can one character look so tough-as-nails and so adorable at the same time?
Shark Shooter Terrafin - One of my old favourites from the original with a new look and moveset

AIR
Stormblade - Is that a collection of kunai under your wing, or are you just happy to hit Kaos where it hurts?
Hurricane Jet-Vac - My favourite from Giants, he looks so...naked without his vacpac! I like his vehicle more than Stormblade's.

FIRE
Spitfire - I thought he was a new Fire dragon at first.
Lava Lance Eruptor - How can he possibly hold that thing without fingers?!
Hammer Slam Bowser - Let's make one thing clear: Bowser hasn't turned good. He's just doing it to save his kingdom.

WATER
Dive-Clops - It's pretty obvious that Eye-Brawl and Dive-Clops have heterochromia iridum (differently-coloured eyes)
Deep Dive Gill Grunt - Kind of reminds me of a triton (a merfolk from the Magic: The Gathering plane of Theros). Still my favourite!

LIFE
Thrillipede - If Flynn was a racing-obsessed insect...ZOOM!
Super Shot Stealth Elf - Look, it's awesome that my old favourite, Stealth Elf, has a brand-new moveset, but why must I have two of them?!
Turbo Charge Donkey Kong - Definitely my pick of the bunch...uh, pardon the pun. It's on like...well, you know!

UNDEAD
Fiesta - Kind of creepy.
Bone Bash Roller Brawl - Okay, so...she's now a skeleton-vampire? Not as creepy as Fiesta, plus she's a favourite from SWAP Force, so she's my pick of the two.

MAGIC
Splat - With that magic paintbrush, she could do all sorts, like...mark graffiti all over Isle Delfino!
Big Bubble Pop Fizz - Another favourite from Giants, and he gets to ride a soda-powered hovercraft! Be silent and receive my coin!

TECH
High Volt - He has the highest possible rank in his field (Skylander outranks SWATbot)
Double Dare Trigger Happy - Woo! My old favourite's back and ready to ride!

DARK
Nightfall - Oh, she's a mermaid...that makes so much more sense.

Shark Shooter Terrafin: Meh. Everyone likes him but I dont really like him being the reposed Earth. Literally I would have like ANYONE else except for Slobber Tooth ofc, but still.
Smash Hit: Love his look! Really excited to get him. I dont even care what he is like in game, just the fact that he has a wrecking ball!

Super Shot Stealth Elf: I like her, everyone hates her but I think shes kinda cool
Thrillipede: Again meh, I feel like I got enough of the four arms thing with Slam Bam. Unless they do something different with it, Im kinda meh atm
DK: Im ok with it. Like its nice for the people who like him, but I kinda wish Wii U got some kind of Super Pack that came with him and Bowser while the regular one came with the normal characters

Deep Dive Gill Grunt: I like him, granted I hate having a 5th version of Gill, but I like the tridents
Dive Clops: I dont really like him, he feels really clunky and big for a normal character. Sure he's related to a Giant, but only Eye and Brawl is what makes him big

Big Bubble Pop Fizz: I kinda like him, I want to see more of him, but I like the idea that he has bubble powers
Splat: LOVELOVELOVELOVE!!! I've always wanted a Skylander with paint related abilities and if her brush is like the Inkbrush in Splatoon then I'd be super happy

Hurricane Jet-Vac: Ive always liked Jet Vac (Ive had more than 4 different chances to get Jet Vac and never once did) and I like the fact that this version throws blades
Stormblade: I also like her and her lightning fast moves (I said I'd only get 1 Supercharger per element but she makes me want to get her)

Bone Bash Roller Brawl: I love her new look and if she has boomerangs that'd be awesome (Gusto and Dino-Rang shouldnt be the only two by now)
Fiesta: Luminous said my exact thoughts

Lava Lance Eruptor: He doesn't look too bad, I like the idea of a lance (Fright Rider being closest to a lance) but I have never really liked Eruptor
Spitfire: I really like his looks and attacks. Seems really fast and powerful
Bowser: Eh, Im at a 50/50 split between getting him or not, I like his moves but I dont really like his Magma form

Double Dare Trigger Happy: I want to see more of him, he seemed to have an aof attack so that seems nice.
High Volt: I didnt really like him at first, but he's grown on me

Nightfall: Love her look and the fact that she has hair powers sounds so cool

Astroblast: Also really like what little Ive seen of him

I'll post my vehicle thoughts some other time

Let's get this thing rolling.

Thrillipede: basically a fusion between Flynn and High Five. Honestly I don't like cocky characters like him.

Super Shot Stealth Elf: I've always liked Stealth Elf and that hasn't changed, even though she has an uncountable amount of figures.

Stormblade: Don't like the name, don't like the design, at least her gameplay looks slightly interesting.

Hurricane Jet-... it isn't worth writting the name of the worst skylander ever made.

Fiesta: I really like his design and his gameplay looks fun as well.

Bone Bash Roller Brawl: The only repose that doesn't have at least five figures. She was always one of my faves and I'm ridiculously happy that she's coming back.

Splat: My favourite character for this game, just love the idea of her wielding a paintbrush.

Big Bubble Pop Fizz: My second least favorite character. I really made my hopes up for Star Strike to come back and then I see this tuba playing drug-goblin.

High Volt: I can't say much about him, but he doesn't look that bad.

Double Dare Trigger Happy: I actually don't care about him in the slightest.

Dive-Clops: very uncreative IMO, though gameplay looks interesting.

Deep Dive Gill Grunt: To be honest, I'm not that mad about him coming back... even though I still hate him.

Spitfire: By far best design for a starter character.

Lava Lance Eruptor: Seriously, this blob of shame is so boring! There are plenty of other amazing fire characters.

Smash Hit: I was really dissapointed at first, but now I can't wait to see more.

Shark Shooter Terrafin: Not mad about him at all. He's not the best repose, but he's good.

Nightfall: Second favorite character for this game. Love her design, especially the translucing hair.

Astroblast: I've started liking him more and more. I surely want to see some HD pics and gameplay.

Spitfire- Looks great and I'm thrilled there's finally a character in a starter pack that I really want a lot
LL Eruptor- Pass, like every other Eruptor.
Thrillipede- Least impressive of all the new characters this year. Pass.
SS Stealth Elf- Yeah, another Stealth Elf. Fair. But I am glad to see her finally toting a distance weapon!
Dive Clops- I am so over one-eyed Skylanders. I'm getting his awesome sub, but the figure? Pass.
DD Gill Grunt- This new version looks like a goofy mad scientist. I would say Pass, but I need to get that trophy somehow...
Fiesta- Looks great. Day of the Dead is awesome! Very excited for this guy!
BB Roller Brawl- Shocked she got the go-ahead to be Undead's returning character! Loved her in Swap Force and cannot wait to buy this version!
Stormblade- My wife is interested in her, so we'll probably get her. Her plane looks neat. For me if it was my choice alone? Eh, probably Pass....those chicken legs.
Hurricane Jet Vac- I wish he looked different from previous Jet-Vac, but I have a place in my heart for him so he's a buy, along with his slick-looking plane.
Splat- Very encouraged by her! I will probably nickname her Boat Goat. The inkling in me roots for Splat.
BB Pop Fizz- Mixed feelings. Maybe I'll get him on sale at some point down the road.
Smash Hit- Definitely will buy. I feel bad this character is falling from grace just by being the last unknown. I think Smash Hit looks quirky and unusual.
SS Terrafin- Pass. Ugly, played-out character. Kudos on the vehicle name Shark Tank, though.
High Volt- I think he looks awesome, personally. Will buy.
DD Trigger Happy- Pass. I am so over everything about this character. That voice...that cursed voice!
Nightfall- Definitely will be. Thoroughly, completely impressed!
Astroblast- Brilliant looking! Again, totally impressed!
HS Bowser- Eh, better than DK. Glad it's him in the Wii pack I'm getting and not DK. (I'll be playing PS4 for the main game)
TC Donkey Kong- Looks like a joke IMO. Pass.

Astroblast: Don't know why, but looks generic. But he's a character with some good potential.
Big Bubble Pop Fizz: I'm the only one who liked him? I like creative Skylanders, and this reinvention of a dated Skylander looks creative. But also strange.
Bone Bash Roller Brawl: In design, she's simple, but good. Can't say about the powers.
Deep Dive Gill Grunt: Great. The new design and powers finally give fresh new air to the every-game character.
Dive-Clops: Good, but with a generic power. The bazooka seems good in design, but the gameplay looks like every shooting-based Skylander.
Double Dare Trigger Happy: He just looks odd. Need to see more.
Fiesta: Great, very great design, but I haven't see any on-foot gameplay of him. I have fear of he having the same problem of Dive-Clops.
Hammer Slam Bowser: Good design. The hammer is generic, but it compensates with the Koopa summon and the Giga/Lava form.
High Volt: Preferred his old design, but the final one looks good.
Hurricane Jet Vac: Very similar to other editions. So, nothing special.
Lava Lance Eruptor: Good design and the lance has a lot of potential.
Nightfall: Great design, but I don't know about powers.
Shark Shooter Terrafin: We don't need more shooting-based Skylanders. Even from a redesigned one.
Smash Hit: Very few details to say anything, but he looks very good.
Spitfire: Great design, interesting powers.
Splat: Looks very great. Waiting to see more details.
Stormblade: Interesting, but nothing more than that.
Super Shot Stealth Elf: One more brawler character become a shooting one. But she looks very cool.
Thrillipede: Seems interesting, booth in design and the potential powers.
Turbo Charge Donkey Kong: He looks pretty odd, but pretty good in gameplay.

Now, Vehicles!

Hot Streak- just your average race car. meh. the e3 edition is cool though.
Burn Cycle- pretty cool! love the lava wheels.
Buzz Wing- second favorite sky vehicle. love those wings.
Stealth Stinger- third favorite sky vehicle.
Dive Bomber- looks cool.
Reef Ripper- Favorite sea vehicle!
Crypt Crusher- as much as i like fiesta, his vehicle is odd.
Tomb Buggy- awesome looking.
Sky Slicer- meh...
Jet Stream- favorite air vehicle!
Splatter Splasher- cool boat.
Soda Skimmer- meh.
Thump Truck- looks freakin' awesome.
Shark Tank- love this vehicle!
Shield Striker- best land vehicle.
Gold Rusher- NIIIICE!
Sea Shadow- i really like this one.
Sun Runner- this looks cool.
Clown Crusier- eh.
Barrel Blaster- Eh.

Bb pop fizz: the tuba is a little strange, but it is still my boy.

Spitfire:meh. Nice, but not attractive. I wouldn't get him if he was single

Hot streak: nice, not more

I love the new guys, but at the same time feel sad that there are only 10 completely new guys. I would have been OK with maybe 16 like Giants, but as the cast goes, this lineup looks pretty nice. I do sadly believe that Trap Team had the better and more creative designs, but again do like the new characters.

Fiesta, Dive Clops, Thrillipede, Stormblade, Splat and Astroblast stand out as the best in my book this year for now.

Fire:
Spitfire: Looks cool, cooler with the dark skin. Not sure how he drives, but he's a nice choice for the "flagship" Skylander this game.
LL Eruptor: Meh. I get how VV are making the melee characters projectile and vice versa, but this really doesn't fit Eruptor. His bike is kinda cool, though.
HS Bowser: He's not impressing me very much. He looks great as a representation of the character, and Magma Bowser is awesome, but I'm still not very hyped to play him.

Life:
Thrillipede: Nah. His design is alright, but, as previously stated, he's just a mix of High Five and Flynn.
SS Stealth Elf: Awesome. This is a great remake, and I especially like how her ammo is her unupgraded daggers. Nice touch.
TC Donkey Kong: Really hyped for him. I like his new design and moves that are both reminiscent of the Donkey Kong arcade game and his DKC series.

Undead:
Fiesta: Also really hyped. He looks great so far, and I don't understand the hate for him.
BB Roller Brawl: Check out my sig. She looks awesome with the skeletal costume and her boomerang has great potential in her new moveset. I will be getting her ASAP.

Water:
Dive-Clops: Meh. Has potential, but I don't understand how he is Eye-Brawl's relative when he should be just related to the Eye.
DD Gill Grunt: Cool-looking, but not impressed. I want to see more of him.

Magic:
Splat: Great concept, and cool-looking figure. I want to see gameplay, however.
BB Pop Fizz: He makes sense in that SCs should be bipedal, but I wanted to see Spyro, Deja Vu, or even Star Strike. His design is alright.

Air:
Stormblade: Meh. Basically a female Jet-Vac. She's alright, but I'd only get her to supercharge her vehicle.
H Jet-Vac: Not impressed, need to see gameplay.

Earth:
Smash Hit: He looks interesting, and his design is promising.
SS Terrafin: Design looks nice, gameplay looks awesome. Great implementation of his new projectile powers.

Tech:
High-Volt: Design has potential, but I need to see gameplay.
DD Triggs: Doesn't look like a melee character from his design. I want to see how this plays out, as this could be interesting.

Light:
Astroblast: Another meh. His design is alright, but his vehicle is just weird.

Dark:
Nightfall: Awesome design, great figure. Haven't seen any gameplay, but she looks really cool.

Love: Stormblade, DK, Splat

Like: Jet-Vac, Fiesta, Smash Hit, Spitfire, Bowser, Pop Fizz

Meh: Thrillipede, Terrafin, Eruptor, Dive-Clops, Gill Grunt, High Volt, Trigger Happy, Nightfall

Dislike: Astroblast, Stealth Elf, Roller Brawl

So it's pretty much even for me, but I'm still disappointed because with the smaller roster, I expected the quality of each character to be better. A lot of these to me have some cool idea but iffy execution.

Vehicles...
I like all their designs (except for the rather plain-looking Earth ones), but if I get this game I'm not buying them all as I dislike like the gimmick.
However, outside of the starters, I'd probably buy (most to least likely): Sea Shadow, Jet Stream, Soda Skimmer, Sky Slicer and Splatter Splasher.
Maybe Sun Runner and Burn Cycle because those have cool and unique looks, but I doubt I'd use either of their Superchargers much, so probably not.

Yay: Spitfire, Fiesta, Splat, High Volt, Astroblast, Nightfall, BB Roller Brawl

Just Fine: Smash Hit, Dive-Clops, Amiibolanders

Nay: Other Reposes, Mutant Grundo-- I mean Thrillipede, Stormblade

I'm glad people are starting to like Smash Hit. Everyone was just like uh Nope...

I like High Volt a lot, but I'll only get him if he has good gameplay and I like SSC's gameplay as a whole. Eruptor and Roller Brawl also look good. I like boomerangs, can't wait to see more of Roller Brawl.

My favourite vehicle is Shark Tank. It looks unique.

As of now, outside of the Starter Pack, I'm only most likely to get Dive-Clops, Dive Bomber, and Stealth Stinger.

My least favourite Skylander design-wise is Nightfall, least favourite vehicle is Crypt Crusher. Nightfall doesn't look like he'll be interesting, and Crypt Crusher just looks bland.

Roller Brawl uses boomerangs?

I'm most looking forward to the vehicles. The racing element sold me when I was on the fence for monetary reasons. I'll probably stick to maybe 2-3 of each terrain time. For sure Hot streak, stealth stinger, and sea shadow with completed pairings for the dark edition I'm getting. Dark spitfire just looks way better in my opinion. I also like thump truck, reef ripper, sky slicer, and burn cycle so far. As far as new characters go I really like high volt (hopefully he will have great gameplay), thrillipeed looks interesting, and trigger happy has always been one of my favorites. Hopefully we will get more gameplay before release

My thoughts:

Spitfire: Good choice for starter packs.
LL Eruptor: Best Eruptor so far but I think fryno would have fit in better.
HS Bowser: Awesome but I would have liked him better without a hammer.
Thrillipede: Looks cool but wanna see more of him.
SS Stealth Elf: Ok but I would of liked someone else to be in every starter pack.
TC DK: Awesome but I don't like his suit.
Highvolt: Looks cool but I want to see his moveset.
DD Trigger Happy: I always loved Triggs but I want gameplay.
Smash Hit: My favorite new character. I wanna see gameplay so badly.
SS Terrafin: nice new take on Terrafin.
Splat: She's ok but I think her moveset will be awesome.
BB Pop Fizz: I'm interested with his moveset but I would of liked someone else to have returned.
Dive-Clops: Awesome.
DD Gill Grunt: Best Gill so far.
Fiesta: Looks awesome.
BB Roller-Brawl: She's fine but I want gameplay.
Stormblade: Least favorite new character.
H Jet-Vac: Fine looks too like regular jet-vac.
Astroblast: Awesome.

Spitfire: Glad to get a dragon looking starter Skylander outside of Spyro, Doubt i'll use him after Superchargers though
LL Eruptor: looks alright but i just hate Eruptor.

Air:
Stormblade: She looks alright.
Hurricane Jet-Vac: Tired of Jet-Vac's.

Earth:
Smash Hit: haven't seen enough of him!
Shark Shooter Terrafin: didn't want another repose of him.

Life:
Thrillipede: I like the look of this new skylander but doubt I'll use him after Superchargers.
Super Shot Stealth Elf: Stealth Elf is always one of my favorite Skylanders and have used her in every game. However i'm tired of her getting a repose and I think her outfit is so Anti-Stealth that it shouldn't have been her in this game. I hate her new look honestly.

Water:
Dive-Clops: debating if I will call him Big Daddy, Mr. B or Bubbles pretty sure it will be Big Daddy and since I'm a huge fan of Bioshock I'm probably most excited for him.
Deep Dive Gill Grunt: best looking gill-grunt but DID NOT WANT ANOTHER REPOSE of him, thought a Supercharged Chill would have fit better.

Tech:
High Volt: LOOKS AWESOME!
DD Trigger Happy: did not want another repose ever.

Undead:
Fiesta: Looks cool, will be excited to get him.
Bone Bash Roller Brawl: Haven't seen what she looks like yet, but I am a bit disappointed in which i would like a repose of the original so i can switch between abilities. Or they could throw us a bone and in a future game just forget the series junk and let us switch any skylander we choose.

Magic:
Splat: looks cool but i don't think she replaces Deja Vu for me.
Big Bubble Pop Fizz: My most hated skylander so i'm not excited for him.

Light:
Astroblast: Looks really cool but it doesn't replace Knight light for me.

Dark:
Nightfall: Love her look, she will be one I will keep using I believe.

I searched for this topic just to give my final opinions on the vehicles.

Buzz Wing: Looks pretty good to be honest. However in-game, the only interesting looking mod is the bee based one.

Stealth Stinger: If I had to choose (what I have to) I would pick this one. I really don't understand why no one likes the Supercharged version, to me it looks like a Stealth Stinger Deluxe.

Sky Slicer: pretty standard looking when unmoded, but some mods look very nice.

Jet Stream: Looks actually pretty good, but I skip on that one. I honestly don't want to buy anything that's related to Jet-Vac, Hurricane Jet-Vac is the last one!

Crypt Crusher: Don't like it that much, pretty ordinary IMO. Even though the hands look pretty nice, but that's about it.

Tomb Buggy: Don't like that one that much either, but it's the only way to get BB Roller Brawl in Wave 3.

Splatter Splasher: I love it. It's kept simple but still looks very refreshing and magical, can't wait to see some mods.

Soda Skimmer: This one looks pretty nice as well, I like the design and colors. But my collection will be complete without it.

Shield Striker: We haven't seen much of it, but I love it already. It looks very modern and comes the closest to a car we see every day.

DDTH's vehicle (Gold Rush): Don't really like it, it looks very bland.

Reef Ripper: I love the colors, I love the design, I love the mods, it's just overall great.

Dive Bomber: Yuck! By far the cheapest and worst looking vehicle. It looks more like a bathtub toy than a Skylander figure.

Hot Streak: It looks... ok. It's not the best gameplay wise, but the design is good.

Burn-Cycle: It doesn't look bad. After all though, it looks a bit uncreative and I'm not going to get it, as I'll get Hot Streak in the Starter Pack.

Shark Tank: Looks pretty cool, but the more I look at it, the less I like it.

Thump Truck: We haven't seen much of it, but it looks extremely bland and uncreative. I hope some mods can change my mind.

My turn!

Stormblade: Eh, hard to say. I mean, she looks cool in a sense, and her feather attacks are cool, but I don't have a very sturdy opinion yet.

Sky Slicer: I think that it is not the best Sky vehicle, but bonus points for the mods.

Hurricane Jet-Vac: I only own S1 Jet-Vac, and I like him wholly as a character. Can wait to play with him. Despite his rather plain looking figure.

Jet Stream: More interested in this than the Sky Slicer, looks more unique and it has a cool Supercharged design.

Thrillipede: He looks like a green Slam Bam with antennae and a fur coat. I mean, I was hoping for something like a rabbit maybe for Life (Guy can hope right?) rather than him, but will still wait to see.

Buzz Wing: Not as cool looking as the Jet Stream, but better than the Sky Slicer. Not a big fan of the Supercharged form, but will remain intrigued.

Super Shot Stealth Elf: Honestly, I don't want another Stealth Elf. Three was enough for me. But, her turret attacks look powerful to say the least, and will remain a fan of it until otherwise.

Stealth Stinger: Was wanting something a bit faster, but this'll do. Don't really like the turret attack for this, and the stealth mode it enters into looks ineffective. But, I'll wait for me to play with it.

Fiesta: Definitely one of the more unique characters, I love his mariachi band. His sombrero attack looks like a nice melee composition, even if his trumpet gun isn't the best ranged attack. But his cool design makes it worth it.

Crypt Crusher: One of the better vehicles, and the kamikaze skeletons make it a day one grab for me. Nothing else to say.

Bone Bash Roller Brawl: I don't have much a say on her right now. I've heard of her having a boomerang attack, but I don't know. Looks worse than her core form opinion.

Tomb Buggy: Same deal with Roller Brawl, except I've seen it more. I mean, it looks nice, not nice enough. Would rather have a different vehicle to play with than this.

Smash Hit: I was really wanting a character with a ball and chain, and now I have my wish. I think he will be a fun character for me to have.

Thump Truck: Aside from an image or two, haven't seen it. From what I have seen, I was hoping for a steam roller, but oh well.

Shark Shooter Terrafin: His shark attacks look fun and creative, with his armor matching perfectly. Can't wait for Christmas (low budget mandates for the starter to come around Christmas time. Yay).

Shark Tank: Will love to use the burrow ability online, and it is a nice complement with Terrafin.

Spitfire: Probably my favorite Supercharger, I will use him often in Superchargers like I did with Snap Shot in Trap Team.

Hot Streak: Same deal with Spitfire. It's a shame I'm getting the Wii U starter, hopefully it comes in a single pack with Spitfire around Christmas.

Lava Lance Eruptor: Was expecting Fryno, this'll do. At least he will have a main attack I can use.

Burn-Cycle: Being the best motorcycle in Superchargers, I will love to get this when wave 2 comes.

Dive-Clops: Reminds me of Zook, although different. Will like the firing-while-fleeing tactic that he incorporates.

Dive Bomber: Lovin' that green there, and like Dive-Clops, will like the tactic.

Deep Dive Gill Grunt: Notice that our two water characters name both start with 'D'? Anyway. the trident looks cool ,and it'll ben ice having another Gill Grunt (I only have the mini and S1).

Reef Ripper: In my opinion it looks cooler than the Dive Bomber, even if it probably won't be as fun to use.

Splat: Albeit not a good name, her paintbrush makes me like her.

Splatter Splasher: Nice boat. Nothing else to say.

Big Bubble Pop Fizz: As my second favorite character from Giants, booyah! Even if he looks ridiculous.

Soda Skimmer: Looks more interesting than the Splatter Splasher. This will probably be my second most used Sea vehicle, next to the Dive Bomber.

High Volt: A somewhat-good addition to Tech. Look, we have enough robots, but his shield and spear look unique enough to make it worth it.

Shield Striker: An armored car does make for a nice land vehicle...

Double Dare Trigger Happy: Don't what he'll do, but his fiery pistol makes me want him.

Double Dragster (Trigger Happy's Vehicle Fan Name): Pretty boring in colors, don't know what else to say.

Astroblast: Reminds me of Luminous in a good way, can't wait to see how he plays.

Sun Runner: UFO. 'Nuff said.

Nightfall: Looks better than the other two Dark characters, I can't wait to have her!

Sea Shadow: Manta Ray design intrigues me, but its not as nice as other Sea Vehicles.

Turbo Charge Donkey Kong: Would rather have another Light or Dark, but his gameplay looks worth it.

Barrel Blaster: I would say this ranks rather low in my list of favorites, but Diddy Kong makes me like it.

Hammer Slam Bowser: Definitely better than DK, I will like his Koopa Troopas. Still sour about him taking a spot in Light and Dark though.

Clown Cruiser: Nice plan design, it's probably the closest to a real life plane. Despite the bullet bills. And the clown face.

Dark Spitfire- the in game appearance is odd.
Dark SSSE- cool.
Dark DK- Eh.
Dark Bowser- the only skymiibo i care about. Y U SO HARD TO GET!
Frightful Fiesta- YES. SO MUCH YES.

Legendary Hurricane Jet Vac- Eh.
Legendary Astroblast- awesome.
Legendary BBRB- BEST. LEGENDARY. EVER.
Steel Plated Smash Hit- cool.

Buzz Wing: Decent. I would choose this one of Stealth Stinger though.

Stealth Stinger: It's pretty cool but I'd rather choose Buzz Wing

Sky Slicer: My least favorite vehicle. But one of the mods it had this massive jet. Looked pretty sick.

Jet Stream: Better then Sky Slicer. Love the movement on the toy form.

Crypt Crusher: This one is ok. It has a cool name.

Tomb Buggy: BEST SUPERCHARGED VEHICLE EVER! Normal vehicle? It's alright. But this is my Land Supercharged Vehicle of Choice!

Splatter Splasher: Pretty cool!

Soda Skimmer: I like this one!

Shield Striker: ONE OF THE BEST VEHICLES!

Gold Rusher: Pretty cool! It has rapid fire and I like it.

Reef Ripper: Better the Dive Bomber

Dive Bomber: No. Just no.

Hot Streak: Pretty awesome vehicle!

Burn-Cycle: Not as good as Hot Streak

Spitfire- I really love his Dark variant! Like most starter characters, he'll probably grow on me more when I try him out.
Lava Lance Eruptor- This utterly baffles me. Why make ERUPTOR a knight-esque design when you have IGNITOR just waiting for a repose?! Then there's Fryno, who fits Superchargers like a glove. You know they're desperate to keep the mascot characters on shelves when you see this.
Thrillipede- My absolute favorite Skylander for Superchargers. Essentially my Trap Shadow of Superchargers.
Super Shot Stealth Elf- I wish they brought someone else back for the life revamp, but her attack style is nice. Good to have her as a projectile character to mix things up!
Dive Clops- Eh. Like the design, not too keen on gameplay and vehicle.
Deep Dive Gill Grunt- My fave repose! Like most people, my initial reaction was "ANOTHER GILL GRUNT?!" But his attacks really grew on me!
Fiesta- VERY unique design, I love it! Not sure about gameplay yet but he's a unique character, and I love any new take on a play style!
Bone Bash Roller Brawl- Amazing choice for a repose! I like her, but I'll have to see some gameplay to find out if I pick her up. I already have Dino Rang for my boomerang guy so I hope Roller Brawl brings something new to the table.
Stormblade- Eh. I can see a future shelfwarmer already. Not as unique as the other Skylanders in this game. Sky Slicer looks "bleh" too.
Hurricane Jet Vac- Activision: "Introducing what everyone's been begging for: JET VAC... AGAIN! We know how much you LOVE his attacks, so we dicided to keep him as un-changed as possible!" I might actually pick him up if he has a cool new attack or two we don't know about. Jet Stream is amazing.
Splat- Like Fiesta, SUPER unique, even more so with her weapon! At first I thought she was butt-ugly, but upon seeing her weapon, I'm definitely picking her up!
Big Bubble Pop Fizz- Why. WHY. Like Eruptor, you know Activision is desperate to not repose Voodood, Double Trouble, and company when they make this ABOMINATION. It's like when they sit down for a meeting they say, "Guys, QUICK. We need an excuse for a new Pop Fizz or else we'll have to repose Voodood!!!"
Smash Hit- LOVE his design, and Supercharged Thump Truck is a beast! Definitely picking him up!
Shark Shooter Terrafin- Very unique gameplay for Terrafin, picking him up! I also love how his Shark Tank can burrow underground too.
High Volt- One of my new fave Tech 'landers. It's so cool how they made a SWAT Team-esque Skylander! His Shield Striker looks awesome, both regular and Supercharged.
Double Dare Trigger Happy- Like Gill Grunt, I saw his repose and was skeptical, but now that I've seen his figure and vehicle, he looks very promising.
Nightfall- Second fave Supercharger! Dark is still my favorite element thanks to her!
Astroblast- Looks promising; I'm getting him for his design and gameplay, but the generic voice kills me. They could've filtered his voice or made it something cool and alien-like, but they took the generic "I'M A MASCULINE SUPERHERO" route again with his voice like they did with Boom Jet, Doom Stone, etc.
Bowser-GIVE ME THIS RIGHT NOW, MY LIFE IS COMPLETE!
Donkey Kong- Not as cool as Bowser, but he has some AWESOME retro attacks!

An overall great roster of characters even though there are less new guys in this game. So far for me Fiesta, Thrillipede, Smash Hit and Astroblast are some of the best I've seen in this game. I'm also happy for the massive Smash Hit and Thrillipede fanbase growing at a fast pace. Looks like were gonna be presented with an extremely popular roster this year and on a scale of 1 through 10, I give this roster an A.

Might as well give a full thing now that we have good shots of all the characters.

Astroblast & Sun Runner - Pretty cool, I'm glad we finally have a straight up alien Skylander, but Sun Runner is so much better than his rider, design wise. Maybe he'll grow on me when I get him.

Big Bubble Pop Fizz & Soda Skimmer - One of the best reposes in my opinion, but I don't exactly know why. I've always like Pop Fizz, and I do like brass instruments, so maybe that's the reason.

Bone Bash Roller Brawl & Tomb Buggy - My other favorite repose, mostly because skeletons are rad,and the supercharged version of Tomb buggy is adorably deadly. Funny how both of my favorite reposes are the only ones not from SSA.

Deep Dive Gill Grunt & Reef Ripper - Ehhh. I do actually still like Gill Grunt, and his new armor is pretty spiffy looking, but BOY, Reef Ripper is the most boring vehicle of them all, even if it uses the Arkeyan design. It's just one solid color with a bit of bronze, pretty boring,

Dive-Clops & Dive Bomber - Giant eyeball guy? Instant favorite. Dive Bomber is pretty boring, but it works as the basic water vehicle.

Double Dare Trigger Happy & Gold Rusher - Trigs is the one we've gotten the least amount of info about,but his design reminds me of Kamen Rider Mach, which is neat, and Gold Rushed has a good punny name and a decent design.

Fiesta & Crypt Crusher - I looooove Fiesta de los Muertos designs, so Fiesta is absolutely at the top of my favorites list. Normal Crypt Crusher is fine but the supercharged version is amaaaazing.

High Volt & Shield Striker - I can't say much about High Volt, aside from his SWAT armor looking pretty cool, but Shield Striker has one of my favorite supercharged versions. It looks like it came out of Mad Max.

Hurricane Jet-Vac & Jet Stream - Uggghh. The most boring repose, mostly because there's absolutely no changes to him aside froma different looking air gun. Jet Stream is also ugly looking too.

Lava Lance Eruptor & Burn-Cycle - Eruptor is my second least favorite repose, mostly because I'm upset over the motorcycle not going to a Kamen Rider type guy. But Burn-Cycle is pretty cool, honestly.

Nightfall & Sea Shadow - ANOTHER one of my favorite new characters, Nightfall has a perfect design, and I love the Sea Shadow's deep sea creature theme.

Shark Shooter Terrafin & Shark Tank - Eh. Not a bad redesign, and having a gun that shoots sharks is rad. Shark Tank is much better design than Terrafin, and has a way better name.

Smash Hit & Thump Truck - Smash Hit is my least favorite design of the new batch, but that doesn't mean he's bad, and him being voiced by Rob Paulson is fantastic. Thump Truck has a really good design too, nice and hefty.

Spitfire & Hot Streak - Probably one of the best starter characters in a while, even if dragons really aren't my thing. Hot Streak is nice too, and I'm glad it isn't just a generic standard car like you would expect.

Splat & Splatter Splasher - Nightfall and Splat are tied for my favorite female characters in Skylanders, she's cute and has a neat weapon and can use a Stand, she's fantastic. Splatter Splasher is pretty neat too, even if it is just a normal speed boat with horns.

Stormblade & Sky Slicer - Conversely, Stormblade is tied with Stealth Elf as my least favorite female characters of this game alone. Again, not to say it's a bad design, I just don't like bird characters that much. Sky Slicer is also really boring.

Super Shot Stealth Elf & Stealth Stinger - Not much to say, it's Stealth Elf in a racing outfit. Stealth Stinger is neat for being the only helicopter, bit it's only color is green, which does not make it stand out.

Thrillipede & Buzz Wing - Thrillipede is nearly one of my favorite designs in the entire Skylanders series, due to him being one of the few fully bug themed characters, but they really messed up his face. I might like him more if they just got rid of his creepy human eyes. They just look... wrong. Buzz Wing looks fun too, I really hope the wings can actually flap on the toy.

My feedback is simple: New guys rule, re-reposes drool.
