Hello ladies and germs, it is i Greeble with one of my crazy theories.

I've been taking a look at Astroblast and he looked oddly familiar.

Then i realized he has a very similar design to Luminous.

Do you think there could be a connection between the 2?

We've already seen that Villains and Skylanders have history, so it's possible they could be related in some way.

Let me know what you all think.

Look at the closeup(racing icon), I don't think they're the same species as previously thought. He seems to have a face made of crystal and his eyes are entirely yellow, while Luminous has an orange sclera.

Well maybe that "Crystal Face" Is a helmet?

I want to at least have SOME type of history. My favorite villain and my favorite Skylander!

Helmet or not the triangle chin is still a far cry from Luminous' oval face, as the eyes.
Well, Nightfall wasn't even implied to have experienced being banished to the Dark Realm, so it's possible the Superchargers were too far out of main Skylands to get involved in anything we know; except Fiesta who's a post-SF recruit.

Hmm. True. I did come up with some type of backstory for Astroblast.

Astroblast was built by one of the best mechanic's in Skylands. Basically his purpose was to serve that mechanic as a servant. Astroblast didn't enjoy that. After month's and month's of serving the mechanic, He decided that he had enough. He wanted to explore the land. He want to do adventures. So he got to making special weapons he could use to fend off himself when he left. He built a laser shooter gun that he programmed to be powered by the Sun itself! The problem was, Astroblast was caught! His mechanic asked him what he was doing and Astroblast came clean of how he didn't enjoy being a servant and he wanted to adventure. At that very moment, Trolls attacked that mechanics lab! This was Astroblast's chance to prove himself to the mechanic. One by one the trolls were shot down and Astroblast had one. Astroblast's heroic moves took notice to Master Eon where he elected him to be a Skylander. Now, Astroblast fight's off the forces of Kaos' evil minions, And he still visits the Mechanic from time to time.

GOD THAT TOOK A LONG TIME TO WRITE.

Half of that is gear shift's backstory.

Wait what? Oh I didn't even look at her backstory. -facepalm-

I thought he was from the same species before clearly seeing his face's art.
I thought his head was made out of light or electricity but it's clear it's actually some kind of crystal.

I doubt it is a mask... But who knows?

Yeah. Just wait for the backstory. Hopefully it has SOMETHING cool in it
