I figured, "Y'know, maybe the full speed will be done automatically with Sixaxis, and then I'll be able to control my height!"
Guess what? I sucked... I mean, Lair at first had forced Sixaxis, but even that was more useable that this crap. DotD's Sixaxis was also hyper-sensitive, so what do I do? Turn either too much or too little..

I have Sixaxis on, but I didn't see any difference.
Meh, maybe my controller is broken. The "X" button doesn't seem to work anymore, either. EDIT: Turns out my controller was broken. Got a new one, and tried Sixaxis for the first time. I hardly know how it works, except for a few users telling me the basics, and was surprised that you could only use SIXAXIS while in flight. (Is quite n00bish) But I was not as surprised that SIXAXIS in DotD is HARD. It took me a while to get used to it, and I still have tons of trouble going forward. Also, I was disappointed I couldn't go up nor down. (would have been a nice feature, IMO) Bah, I think I'll stick to the regular controls, atleast for this game. |

You can turn Sixaxis off o3o Quote: torok
The PS3 controller's built in motion sensoring; it's kinda like the Wii, but it has six things (nodes I think they're called) in the controller that sense how it's tilted or balenced. |

Sixaxis fails for this game. D: LittleBigPlanet has better Sixaxis controls. xP
I find myself twisting my arms around, and thinking "Just turn darnnit!" I turned it off. 8D I still think that the message you get when you turn off the controller still fails as much as Sixaxis for DotD. x3 |

I get my PS3 and DotD for it today, and I use Sixaxis. I don't like it very much.

Oh sweet Mangon did that Sixaxis commit an act of EPIC PHAILURE! That was one of the reasons I H4T3D the control scheme for DotD. ¬_¬

For some reason it's only in the options menu when not in a level.
Ultimately the Sixaxis option is just really pointless. You sit there tilting the controller around when you could more easily be actually using your left thumb for something other than trying not to use the proper controls.

Maybe because it caused a glitch if the player was flying when in the pause menu...
Absolutly. The Sixaxis isn't all that great either; I can tilt the controller HALF WAY and the dragons'll fly all the way left/right almost. |
