"The racing is available right out of the box and comes with six tracks unlocked. Players will be able to unlock another six boss tracks by purchasing action packs, which include a vehicle, character and boss trophy. Once the boss track is "beaten" the player can use it in multiplayer races.

Bala also showed off some SuperCharger Challenges. These challenges are tied to the Skylander and their paired vehicle.

For instance, Super Shot Stealth Elf and her Stealth Stinger get an air challenge that has players flying around a course while trying to destroy as many bees and queen bees as possible.

The game will include 20 different challenges, for the 20 SuperCharger characters and their 20 vehicles."

Looks like a new take on heroics on the challenges there. Whatever. I'm not falling for it.

Only 6 tracks off the bat? That must be on the normal one. The racing edition must have more. Right???

Six tracks from 3 action packs. Does Kaos count for two more? Eh if they only unlock two tracks each they're not going to be worth it for me. Unless I can find them used cheap.

Nightfall's backstory
Nightfall was a Dreadwalker from Fogshadow Tower, a mysterious fortress in the middle of the Poison Sea. While most Dreadwalkers stayed within the noxious cloud they called home, Nightfall preferred to dive into the black abyss and hunt the dark monsters that threatened her people. One day, as she was exploring a deep cavern in her submarine, the Sea Shadow, Nightfall came upon an enormous object that pulsed with a strange energy. It was gigantic, and before she could comprehend what she was looking at, it hatched! Out came a creature 100 times larger than anything she had ever seen! She fired the engines and raced back to warn her people. Just as the last citizens boarded an evacuation ship, the colossal head of the Leviathan broke the surface of the water and let out a terrible roar! Without hesitation, Nightfall rushed towards the monster, blasting it with everything she had while the others made their escape. This act of heroism caught the attention of Master Eon, and the rest is Skylander history!

Leaves me wondering if the Kaos Trophy in the Dark Edition does the same thing as an eventaul Air Cup, or if there will be more to it then that.

Apparently it just gives you a new "Kaos Mode".

Kaos Trophy gives you Kaos related content. The other villains will be in the Sky Trophy which apparently is Wolfgang themed.

I think we only need to find out one more villain cause I've actually seen all them except for 1 theres 12. I made a post on the everything we know post of all the ones we've seen.

Do I have to buy the character to do their challenge, like for example can I play gill grunts challenge without buying him or is it like heroic challenges were u unlock them by buying the characters?

I think you'll need both him and the vehicle, that's what Supercharged Challenge seems to imply.
