For the first time ever, skylanders is going online. There are two different online modes: campaign gameplay where you and another player play together in levels from the story focused campaign mode and racing where you and up to 3 other players compete in races across skylands on various terrain such as land, sea and sky. When playing with friends, you have the option to use voice chat to talk freely with your friends, however when playing with strangers voice chat is disabled. The online mode will make an appearance on Wii U, 3DS, PS4, PS3, Xbox ONE and Xbox 360. The Wii version, 'SuperChargers: Racing' is exempt from online interactivity.

-Please do say you're from DS, my memory is super bad and I'll not accept random requests if I can't remember.
-I'll probably hang out on (Land) racing only *most* of the time,no voice chat(but probably avaliable for PMing on DS because I'll probably have it open somewhere nearby). Would love to co-op with some users but the times I'm studying mean there's just too small of a window to arrange around timezones and stuff,and I do not have the willpower to play videogames too late at night.

Honestly I think i'm starting to think, The Wii version and Hammer Slam Bowser might not be worth it. I honestly want to play with other people and I'm not that type of person to buy 2 games unless the Wii is actually like COMPLETELY DIFFERENT. I can pre-order one and get the other for christmas. I think i'm gonna get the nomral Dark Edition with Spitfire and Super Shot Stealth Elf the Hot Streak and plus I get Sea Shadow. So Hey, It's worth it.

Okay, so I'm kind of confused about how racing as non-Skylander characters will work.

I mean, for the villains, when the trophies were revealed, I assumed it would have something to do with the traps. But then villains we didn't capture in Trap Team like Mesmerelda, Frightbeard, and Cluck were shown to be playable in the mode.

And then there are the Mabu people. I mean, with the exception of Mab Lobs, Mabu have never been playable in a Skylanders game before. And even though they weren't revealed, it's probably safe to assume that they'll make characters like Flynn, Cali, Buzz, and Tessa playable in the mode...

So... Is there also going to be like a pre-determined roster for online? If so, that kind of defeats the purpose of Toys to Life...

Also, how do you check what your Wii U Gamer ID is?

I'm pretty sure the Mabu were the CPU opponents..

And I'm expecting multiple villains to be unlocked with one trophy~

I can't wait to be bashing Kaos's face in with one of my friends. I had a friend who moved away out of my neighborhood about 3 years ago, we both play skylanders and I skyped with him earlier talking about SuperChargers and we're gonna friend eachother and play story mode together

We're not gonna do racing though he said he kinda sucks at racing games. I hope they have a menu chat thing or something so we can chat safely in story mode.
