Isn't the radio cute?

I love the radios that appear in some places of the game. I enjoy listening to the "Cold Front" stories by Chill Bill in each level. I especially like how when I switch music, it says "CASH PRIZES!" and throws gold. I also love how the various music from the radio sound so much like real electronic music.

Who else likes these radios?

Honestly I think they are extremely annoying.

I mean the dialogue can be enjoyable, but the music tone, and the voice, and ... ugh...

I think that it's more annoying that Chill Bill will skip the news if you do just about anything near them(talk to NPCs, get a cutscene, get killed), because it activates by itself. If they made it activate first when you interact with it, it'd be easier to enjoy.
But other than that, his dialogue is absolutely hilarious, especially since his humor is so dry compared to most of the game and he'll actually mention some very harmless lore(like about the Skyhighlands Sky Pirates). I'll take it over Meditations on Boom anyday.

Highlights for me are Lair of the Golden Queen for that dry humor I just talked about and Ultimate Weapon for leaning on the fourth wall.

I loved the feature. Isn't in the way (much) and added some levity to the level in question as Chill's announcements are level specific.

Rufus is one of my favorite NPCs in the Skylanders series. After I finished everything he talked about after I got back from levels, he didn't really talk long.

Anyway I don't find the Radios annoying. I like them. Plus they give you cash.

I wouldn't say the radio is cute, but it's cool.

However, I would say that Chill Bill is better than 99.999% of the DJ's on radio and satellite radio today.

The radios are a fun little feature. My sister loves them. When she plays with me, she'll just keep pressing the button over and over again to play different songs and hold me back. smilie
