^ Doesn't necessarily mean that. Could just be a simple curiosity to find out if there are any others like oneself. Doesn't mean they like those people better, doesn't mean they don't like people who aren't like them, can just be a simple fact of feeling good to know you're not alone in a sense. The part of the post saying "I'm bored" makes it clear it's out of curiosity, then the later post saying how he doesn't get to meet many others shows it's just a simple point of wanting to meet other Israelis and see what they're like. I see no preference over any group implied. OP could never talk to anyone who responds to this topic again and instead be best friends with someone completely different.

I hope your not the kind of person who listens to MTV when they say black people can't be racist, you fail to look at the world around you it isn't just Israelis that segregate them selfs but it is Muslims and Catholics as well where you have to put up with the dominant religion, Italians demand Muslims speak italian in mosques so they know what is said because they don't want to learn Muslim. Catholics have the Vatican guarded by the Swiss guards it's own standing army, Rome is its own jurisdiction seperate from Italy. Those are just religious segregation racial segregation is still alive today if it wasn't we wouldn't have china town, Korea town, little Havana etc those cultures can segregate them selfs and not be racist because of there minority status, they have those places too avoid assimilation into society. I am sorry you wish to avoid facts of the world even the mainstream media reports on and they suck at there job.

^Regardless of the social structures and tendency for those to remain with their own kind, that doesn't really give much right to imply that we ourselves are racist just because a majority happen to be one particular race.

I feel as though we have an alarmingly large amount of Australians on the forum. It's really surprising to see how many people here that I thought were American or British turn out to be Australian.

Of course granted we're all talking this way and not paying mind to the Skylanders section which at this point greatly outnumbers us. Still it would be interesting to find out just what the second most populous nation is on here (either Australia or Britain).

I don't deny that racism is a problem in the world, it very much is; merely that a kid on a Spyro forum asking if there are other Israeli users isn't exactly a good example of it.

The truth isn't nice, honesty is brutal. The faster you comprehend that the better of you will be.

The truth is, you're being kind of a huge jerk and assuming things about an entire group of people you don't even know.

But I think the exchanges just today are saying a lot about how this conversation will go nowhere because apparently hating people equally means you can be a jerk whenever you want. I'll leave it at that,then.

Pointing out facts isn't racist. I would imagine since so many people know how to use the Internet research for yourself. Truth is stranger than fiction don't be afraid to ask questions of culture.

Is there fault in someone of a different nationality wanting to find others like them and wanting an opportunity to speak their native language?
