I would like to see a video of how it looks in the game & to see if it's shown as a variant or just a regular Hot Streak. No editing, just a un-edited video of anyone putting E3 Hot Streak on the portal & see how it looks in-game...

There was only an image of E3 Hot Streak being called Golden Hot Streak. But no one recorded gameplay of it.

The game hasen't come out yet and also it would showed as a regular Hot Streak.

its gonna be slightly more golden than the regular, but it looks cool IRL

Well... the game in which the E3 Hot Streak is compatible with isn't even out yet, so...

Granted the finished game isn't out yet, but come on they were giving these things away and you got to preview the game where they were giving them out. In my mind, it would stand to reason that someone at one of the two conventions would have tried to put this version on the portal of power. Unless, of course, you were not allowed to. I have never been, since I live no where near the west coast. Obviously, that still wouldn't prove anything since it wasn't the final game, but it still would be nice to know if someone actually tried and what actually happened.

Apparently, SSC requires both Skylanders and Vehicles to be placed on the Portal or else we won't be able to play the game with just a Skylander.

i digo, butthey e3 exclusive after you got to play the game

I opened mine. It registers on the old game as a skylander it doesn;t know about, so I'm assuming it's good to go. Will know day one what it comes up as.

Maybe someone can take it to Gamescon and try using it? The marketing people might just swat it off like they did with people trying to put on Elites during TT visits to the offices,but it wouldn't hurt to ask since it's just a harmless Hot Streak.

No, it isn't. No one has footage of its ingame appearance(a bad quality screenshot hardly gives any info,and it's also not much confirmation), so it's still useful to test it.

Agreed. The other thing is if the store portals start appearing, but likely won't happen until the days leading up to the launch. I'd even guess that the portals may disappear since the real estate will be VERY competitive this year .

Store portals probably wouldn't be that much of a problem if they still have the demo truck(bus? my memory is really bad) this year. They both show up at the same time, but even then, it's one,two weeks before launch,by then we'll probably have the site update and the variant might be just the only footage left.

Someone that went to E3 should have asked about it........while at E3.
