When I normally get a new skylander game I get the ones from the previous games to add to my haul. I went for some swap force and giants figures. And got some spryos cheap on amazon. Making my haul bigger. And with that said what about all of you guys ?

No, I rather spend my money for new guys.

I don't need any old skylanders except to custom. I have every skylander, magic item, trap (until they release the yawn traps), and in game variant. I don't collect chase variants. Too much money!

I'll get old skylanders if it's a favorite that was too expensive before(as I usually remember, living in a country where the series has been cancelled, gotta get everything from Ebay, etc), but that's pretty much it. Gotta have priorities when you don't have much to spare for videogames, and they're below other games and newer figures.

Even though I don't want SuperChargers, I'm buying in game variants that I didn't already have.
I'm also getting Turbo Charge Donkey Kong and Hammer Slam Bowser because they're amiibo.

I try to keep up with all the figures (only the normal ones, no Lightcores, reposes or palette swaps).

I didn't managed to do it when Giants came out (Wham-Shell has been a pain to find) but then I recovered rapidly.

I have Wham Shell. He was easy to find for me. The place I prefer to go is smyths. Toys r us in the uk sucks when it comes to skylanders. Barely anything on the shelf in trap team.

This eBay thing is stupid, those figures are going to be more at equal price or more expensive than buying the game again.

Can confirm, until a few months in even Starter Pack figures cost slightly more than a single pack,plus shipping. Which is why sometimes it IS more worth getting the full starter pack than loose figures+CD+portal if needed in the first week if you're in a country that won't get the game anytime soon.

Which is also why I'm okay with getting Digital Owners.Not like my figures won't arrive a month after launch anyway.

I've actively been trying to catch-up with my favourite Skylanders from Giants, SWAP Force and Trap Team before SuperChargers release day. All I need to fill in the gaps are some Trap Team figures: , , , and the Minis.

if you only thing you need 3 vehicles you are wrong, you buy this then you are gonna buy more, i can promise that.. save your money and buy a wiiu instead. thats much better i think.

lol that's what I did...lol. Seriously there are some other good offerings on the Wii U. Very underrated system. Gamestop has a special right now for the 8 gig with Swap Force for $229. I spent about $90 for a 3 T.B. Hard Drive and I'm set. Already got Smash, Toads Treasure, Swap Force, Trap Team, Mario Land 3D and plan on getting digital Pikmin 3. Plus BOWSER man!!!!!
