What's the origin of darkSpyro's name? [CLOSED]

I initially assumed it was named after, you know, Dark Spyro. But then I found out that the site's been called darkSpyro since well before Dark Spyro was introduced into the Spyro series, and that the existence of Dark Spyro was just a coincidence.


So where did the name darkSpyro come from, then?

Pretty much what Brawler said. If you look hard enough here you can find other sites Dark worked on with similar names, such as darkGTA and darkFAQs.

Well, I say a "child", he was in his teens. He wasn't an adult, strictly speaking.

Spyro's dark form didn't exist when dark52 made this website, so it wasn't based off that.

It's an alternate form of Spyro in which he gets dark powers. It was introduced in Legend of Spyro but later incorporated into Skylanders.

This site was named after dark spyro the Skylander
