I like all of them Drek. I particularly like spat's and Astroblast's battle cry. I do hope the Skymiibos do have catch phrases.

I love coming up with catchphrases for the new Skylanders it's one of the funniest "speculations".

Regarding revamps... I would actually like if they could have slightly different catchphrases to get along with their new powers (for example Deep Dive Gill Grunt's could be "Fear the Fork!") but since many Skylanders actually have similar catchphrases (Fright Rider's is "Fear the Spear" and Fryno's "Crash and Burn" is almost identical to Ignitor's "Slash and Burn") I guess they will simply retain their cassic ones.

But they could always have new voice actings and entirely new sentences and battle cries.
That would be sweet.

Thrillipede: "Thrills and Chills!"

Nightfall: "The Night Shall Rise!"

Smash-It: "Smash and Dash!"

Bowser: "Tyranny is Over!"

Wish I was good with catchphrases but definately not in english where I'm not familiar with proverbs and the like. Much better with small two-word puns :U

But here's one for Splat since art puns; "Good artists copy, great artists steel!" (steel as in endure... I said I'm not good at this)

On Drek talking about revamping some, Hex's catchphrase should also probably be changed if she ever gets a gimmick-repose, since during SSA Undead was covering Dark but that's not longer the case - maybe "Way A-Skull of You" or "Break a Bone"? >w>

I don't know... Hex's catchphrase still suits her well (I still consider her to be the darkest out of all the Undead Skylanders) and her backstory is also actually pretty dark.

Let's see it in a positive way: at least they won't be able to use that exact same sentence as a cheap catchphrase for a possible future Dark character.

Pfft, that is true. But the main thing is that Hex channels dark magics but not exactly Dark magic, kinda like Drobot not being Light despite also using lasers because they're Tech instead. And Malefor is also Undead, so it's less 'fear the dark' and 'fear the undead', maybe... But it's really a 5 year old thing everyone has gotten used to at this point, I guess.

There are a few Skylanders which could somehow fit Light and Dark with small tweaks (Night Shift could easily be a Dark Skylander, he even uses blackholes, and Flashwing would suit Light perfectly).

I personally think Light and Dark were really "last minute" ideas and they actually played them well if that's true; but they indeed aren't that unique and special to justify specific Elements.
Light, lasers, electricity and heavenly powers were already there (Lightning Rod, Zap, Drobot, Bouncer, Whirlwind kinda) and Dark abilities so far could easily belong to Undead (they even leave the SWAP Force's Undead symbol on the ground in Trap Team when summoned ).

From now on we'll simply have unique designs (I have to admit those were spot on except for Knight Light maybe, he would have been a perfect Air Skylander) and adapted abilities.
What has been done has been done I guess.

Just saw it, they posted it on the official Facebook page along with Dive-Clops' artwork.
It does seems strange that it's still not on the wikia though.

And another odd thing is that it was written like this "Look out below!" not with capital letters like the other catchphrases.
They are usually quite precise when it comes too those details, it might have simply been a fitting caption for him.
