It could come with sky slicer, stormblade, Shark Shooter Terrafin, Sun runner and a Wolfgang Trophy. All in light variant. My personal opinion. What you think?

Doesn't make sense in canon. There's no The Lighting to The Darkness, at least that we know of. Dark Variant Skylanders are corrupted by The Darkness, while Dark Element Skylanders just use magic related to nighttime, black holes, things that are dark.

Don't think it would happen for the reasons Bifrost wrote but I can tell you they would include a Light Super Shot Stealth Elf inside it.

They already screwed up in having Skylanders of the Dark element and Dark Skylanders. I'm thinking Nitro is the yin to Dark's Yang, if anything. Enchanted maybe, but they discontinued that line in its infancy.

*points to previous comment* Nothing was screwed up - except maybe the name, still thinking using Shadow or Corrupted or something would work better. In canon, The Darkness is part of the Dark element, but it's not the entire thing, so Dark Skylanders were corrupted by it but it doesn't mean they can suddenly get a new element.

having Dark Elemental SkyLanders AND Dark(ness) SkyLanders could be confusing, especially to new players.
when we didnt know about the Light and Dark elements that was fine, but having Dark(ness) Starter Packs now is just out of "because we've done that in the past" mantra.

But what if there were to be Dark Dark(ness) SkyLanders...it wouldnt happen, but I wonder how ActiVision would name them...Dark Dark Super Shot Stealth Elf?

Well, Sea Shadow is a Dark vehicle. So Dark Sea Shadow is a Darkness Dark vehicle.

Dark Edition - Booyah!

Light Edition - Irrelevant and BORING!!!

LOL wow i forgot about the Dark Sea Shadow and possibly Dark Nightfall!!!

Can't wait until we have a Skylander whose name starts with Dark. Let's say, uh, Darkraken.

omg!... dont give them more ideas for releasing more editions.

I doubt see a light edition every being made as it would never sell as well as a dark edition. The canon is irrelevant I think. Skylanders will do whatever they think will bring in the money, regardless if it messes with the canon. Activision would throw out a rainbow edition if they thought it would sell well.

yes its getting pretty crazy at the moment with all the gill grunt, i even have had a nightmare about him. like i was out buying the skylanders and all shops only had gill grunt on the shelves.. it still haunt me.
