This is Rufus, one of the janitors who used to work at my high school. All he was doing was fishing at 5:00 in the morning, and then his boat topples over and he's just gone. I never would have thought that he would have been gone so soon. He was one of those special people to me, because he would bring happy attitudes into boring classrooms. Some of his jokes do involve taking other people's stuff for the moment, yes, but the students knew he was playing, and many of them played along. I regret not playing along with him. He would have been a nice person to have at my Nephew's birthday party.
I guess I can blame my dog Floofy for not hanging out with this guy. Losing Floofy like that just made me want to avoid the kind of sadness that would have been involved had I had a friendship so deep that losing Rufus would have been like getting **** scared as if he were just shot in the head. I liked him. I know he might have disappointed his family when he landed a janitor job, but he put smiles on people's faces, and that's all that matters to me. Please understand guys. We all miss everyone at some point, and we don't want to let them leave, but everyone has to go at some point. I wish death wasn't a part of life, but it is.

I'm sorry for your loss. May Rufus Rest In Peace
