If you look at the top right on the box for the 3DS version you will see the amiibo "a". It's not on the Wii U version. I don't think its because of the fact that the Bowser figure is both an amiibo and a Skylander because the amiibo part hasn't been confirmed to do anything in Superchargers. That "a" only appears on games if amiibo figures can be used in it

Maybe you will be able to use amiibos in general with the 3ds portal, so you can use amiibos on your old 3ds and 2ds! I guess the official amiibo adapter for the old 3ds and 2ds will come out at the same time.

the adapter comes out 5 days after superchargers. i'd be great if the amiibo support was custom mods for racing (EX: tap duck hunt, get cool mods themed to his likeness.)

I already brought this up in a previous thread. I'm assuming that it will have actual amiibo support and each amiibo will unlock a paint job or a bumper sticker or something. Possibly, even though the wii u version doesnt have the logo, we may see the same thing on the wii u version (since the amiibo/skylander crossing is a main factor in this game), and maybe the amiibos will unlock hats
