Questions about two-player game in vehicle mode [CLOSED]

I have two boys who both love Skylanders Trap Team, and they always play co-op with each other. After SuperChargers was announced, I have my concerns about playing co-op in vehicle mode, and from what I've been told, only player 1 can control the vehicle but player 2 can only be the gunner. Here are my questions:

1) Can player 1 and 2 switch their role during the vehicle mode (ie player 1 becomes the gunner and player 2 becomes the driver)?

2) Can they change the vehicle just as they changed the driver?

3) Is there any announcement about a split screen a la Mario Kart, or will they only have a single screen during the vehicle mode?

I really want to know about the online co op that was realesed. how will that effect driving?
