So I was staring at my High Five I won and got to thinking what this years Fritolander would be. I had a crazy thought that would be cool. A supercharged mini. Like Bloch mini Splat or maybe Low Volt mini High Volt. Just a thought.

If they do have one, odds are it'll involve Fiesta. A very obvious move, right? How about special Frito Shooter Fiesta figure. LOL!

I'd guess since it's nearly mid July there won't be one.

High Five contest started in October, and the year before, Quickdraw Rattle Shake was around the same time. Halloween fright rider was about the same.

The firebone hot dog contest was earlier though, starting in the first half of July.

Im actually a bit surprised we haven't seen anything, but we'll probably see stuff for Frito Lay promos closer to when food products start coming out for Back to School (Probably in a few weeks/next month). Target already has a big back to school section, but the food products I would have to imagine wont show up for a little while.

Even though we likely wouldn't get the figure until after SuperChargers comes out, I'd have to assume we'd get some Trap Team figure. I could see them doing traps maybe.

i hope not, at least not a repeat of the trap team contest in which america had figures in a series delayed because of this stupid contest. Leaving anyone following the series confused about when they were going to be able to get these characters they wanted.

I noted that on the Frito-Lay Facebook page that they "Liked by this page" the Skylanders facebook page. I take that as a sign that they are still friendly and have future plans together. They only "like" related business partners, you know?

It would be interesting to see that they aren't doing anything for the summer this year with frito lay. its possible they will do something back to school as others have said for a rare trap team figure. I'd say echo or another hard to find or a trap master. Its also possible they might skip it and go for a supercharger instead. I've only seen promotions for a free ticket to a zoo on bags of frito lay this time around.
