The strange aspect with the returning characters.

It seems that every character who has returned from older games have kept an ability that represented them so well, but seem to have been their more strategic moves. Here is what I mean with the following:

Life: smilie lost her daggers and possibly her speed move, but can still go into stealth mode.
Earth: smilie doesn't just punch anymore and now shoots little sharks instead of summoning them, however can still dig underground.
Air: smilie had the biggest change as he no longer can soar and can now shoot enemies he sucks up with his new weapon.
Water: smilie no longer uses harpoons or his hose, but kept his water jet pack.

as for the others, here's what I think will be the moves kept for each of the other elements.
Undead: smilie will most likely lose her claws and the shooting blades, but can still roll and headbutt enemies.
Magic: smilie obviously no longer throws bottles since he now has a tuba and will still have his beast mode to compensate.
Fire: smilie will most likely lose his lava lobs and maybe his magma balls, while keeping his eruption attack.
Tech: smilie is a tricky one to determine. Perhaps still obviously shoot coins, but no longer can lob gold on enemies or use his Yamato blaster.

These are my thoughts on what will remain on these characters. Please give me your input on your thoughts on this matter.

....Yeah, that's exactly what the devs said the gimmick-reposes were about. No surprises here.

Well yeah that's true, but it's simply interesting that they kept some of the not as offensive moves for these guys. I mean it now looks like terrafin no longer does his iconic belly flop and Pop Fizz almost loses meaning to his name now. Yes he may shoot fizzy bubbles out of his tuba, but it doesn't really represent him all that well atm. Also interesting how some characters have even changed their fighting styles like how Eruptor will now be better equipped close up rather than ranged.

They had to leave at least one signature ability otherwise it would have been really hard to recognize them.

I mean look at Super Shot Stealth Elf or Deep Dive Gill Grunt.
Who could be behind those masks...?

Can somebody please tell me if the returning Fire SuperCharger is truly Eruptor because honestly I don't recognize him at all with that helmet and the lance.

Mind=blown.
