SDCC badge holders can go hands-on with Skylanders SuperChargers at the Skylanders booth (#121), at the Xbox Lounge at the Manchester Grand Hyatt Hotel, or at the Nintendo Game Lounge at the Marriott Marquis and Marina. For Skylanders collectors, there’s also the 2015 collection of Eon’s Elite toys, special versions of Skylands’ most top heroes that offer powered up in-game stats, premium designs, distinctive poses, and custom packaging. This year, the lineup of Eon’s Elite toys grows with the addition of Voodood, Zook, Slam Bam, Ghost Roaster, Boomer, and Dino-Rang. The first wave of characters, Slam Bam, Zook, and Voodood will be available this November with a suggested MSRP of $19.99.

They all have a S2 look, huh. Might be a good thing if they are, some were forgettable for a reason - 3x power is a temporary fix but better gameplay is long lasting(also give a reason for anyone to use GR's ectoplasm path).

I want these way more than the previous EE figs!

They didn't announce which air or fore skylander will be an elite member now.

Isn't that what you wanted? Keeping the forgotten expensive as crud for no good reason other than some unreasonable value? GR is still going to be expensive and unavaliable to most, he'll just be easier to find without as much of a scalper risk. Calm down.

This is GREAT news!!!! I'm definitely going to prioritise buying these. And the best bit about it is, I don't have ANY of these characters.

I think that they look re-imagined as well, I'm hoping that they are $10-$15 because if it's the same $25 crwp we got last year, I'm not buying them. Also, spotlight and blackout? We never got anything other than the 6 we were told about, never anything about light and dark

They're recoding, giving special interest into these EEs
Making even the regular versions more boring because the basic character special treatment

My problem was never really more people actually owning them as much as it was the extra effort going into a S2+, or EE makes that character less novel to play as there is more thought going into that character. I'd ge fine if they rereleased the S1s

I am so stoked for those Boomer and Ghost Roaster figs, they look incredible. It also looks as if each Eon's Elite weapon will be glittery.

The selling word is "Sunburn"

I love how they tweaked the poses slightly and added different, extremely metallic weapons. Slam Bam looks the best so far, and Boomer's bombs look amazing.

Wish we got S2 Eon's Elite Spyro......

Wow...I'm shocked as I thought the line up was a bust due to all the peg warmers at every Gamestop. At least these three look different enough from their originals unlike the last batch where in a dim room they look almost exactly like the originals.

And they have two of the more popular harder to get characters that fans seem to want. I know that none of the character mentioned are ones I've used for very long in game nor actually like so I highly doubt I'd actually get any of these even on a half price sale. But I do approve supporting the least reposed characters and seeing them look different enough as it seems they are putting a little more effort into this batch.

Little disappointed that there is no Hex as every release should have a female character on the team but she has been represented a little too much and Ghost Roaster certainly deserved this.

Boomer, Ghost Roaster, AND Voodood? My poor pockets...

Curious if the Toys 'R' Us is the exclusive retailer for all the figures or just the first wave. The press release was weirdly worded.

GHOST ROASTER IS BACK, BABY!

Not a huge fan of EE, but it's nice that they're re-releasing some of the "forgotten eight" in some form. The ones in the image look pretty neat, too, with the slightly altered poses and shiny weapons.

There were 8 original EE characters, not six. If you shopped at Gamestop enough they had several buy 1 get 1 free specials.

All I need is that Boomer and I'll be good.

I think these are pretty cool. I didn't care for the elites, either, but releasing characters that are hard to find and giving them new looks (instead of just a glittery paint) makes these enticing. I don't know that I care for the difference in Ghost Roaster, and I think I prefer the dynamite over bombs for Boomer, but Slam Bam looks pretty cool.

This is a cool way for people to get Boomer and Ghost Roaster. The previous price $24.99 was too high, $19.99 is a better choice. They look great, but I thought the previous EE also looked fantastic. They are the pearls of our collection, still trying to figure out a good way to display them.

So we have:

Life: Zook
Undead: Ghost Roaster
Magic: Voodood
Tech: Boomer
Water: Slam Bam
Earth: Dino-rang

That leaves:
Air: Lightning Rod??? (would love this, he is one of my favorites)
Fire: Sunburn???

I guess they realized they'd have to put some actual effort into it this time if they wanted these things to sell.


Does make me sad we'll never know what the first wave of Eon's Elites could've looked like with reposes, though...

I predict Sunburn and Sonic Boom.

If 4 of the forgotten five return, then it would make sense for the fifth to also return. As for Sonic Boom, it's obvious we'll get the ones introduced in SSA, but I don't see it being Lightning Rod or Warnado.

They could have done Camo and Wham-Shell for EE, but they didn't. Those two had reposes for Swap Force. Warnado also had a repose. It is most logical that Warnado doesn't get an EE.

Luckily, there won't be another Pop Fizz. Voodood is confirmed as Magic EE

Even though ive gotten the forgotten 8, though got a few of them used, I'd actually be happy to buy them again, this years elite lineup so far is fantastic, if they had done giants ones I would of only gotten flashwing, if she was selected as the earth skylander. Sadly it feels they've put more thought into the elites than this years dark edition layout, well starter pack layouts in general

I got the first set, don't play with them but they are nice to look at (unfortunately did it all without sales). I have at least 1 of every character in some pose, but I will still be getting these, they look great.

Hopefully the line-up will be:
Magic: VooDood
Earth: Dino-Rang
Life: Zook
Water: Slam Bam
Tech: Boomer
Undead: Ghost Roaster
Fire: Sunburn
Air: Warnado

It would give S2s to most of the figures lacking one, save Zook and Slam Bam which returned in giants.
